Loving Life And Lusting And Living For the Night

Hello people!

What a long day! I’m so glad it’s almost over, lol, I’m exhausted. XD I had a vivid dream last night, but I forgot it on the way to school, so, yeah. Epic fail, hehe.

During photo (which, if you remember from yesterday, was a free period), I felt completely and utterly nauseous. I was so nervous about the 18 in 08 thing. But eventually, I calmed down and stopped feeling so sick, lol. Mom texted me at the start of math to say that she was there (she came to see the assembly). So I went down to meet her at the door and then she and I went to the PAC (the auditorium).

Eventually, Messick arrived. She and I chatted about the whole thing and then David Burstein (creator of 18 in 08) arrived. He was a little late, but it was okay, cuz the entire event was about fifteen minutes behind schedule. Once all the students had filed in and I got the okay from Kruder to get started, I got on stage and did my little intro to the film. It went incredibly smoothly. I was so afraid it would suck, but it didn’t, lol.

See, I have this problem with speaking in front of people. I get really nervous and start swallowing a lot and having to stop halfway through a sentence cuz I’m out of air and my hands usually tend to shake. BUT, none of the above happened! I dunno why I was suddenly so calm about it, but it wasn’t as big a deal as I made it out to be in my head. Anywho, most of the students enjoyed the film (and if they didn’t, they can bite me, lol).

Then David got up and talked about the film, then I intro’d Mary Jo Kilroy (a representative from our 15th district) and she talked a little. THEN we did a short Q&A. I told everyone a bajillion times that it was non-partisan, and yet, two dumbass students in the audience asked TOTALLY partisan questions. It annoyed me. But it’s okay, the other questions weren’t partisan, so that was good.

I thanked everyone and then Mr. McClure (principal) got up and said, “I’d just like to thank Miranda for setting all this up.” And everyone applauded me. It felt really good, lol, I don’t get applause very often, LOL. XD So, yeah, it was nice. Afterwards, Mr. McClure shook my hand and thanked me off-stage and met my mom and chatted with her a little. Messick met mom, too, and they get along real well, lol. Oh, and Messick hugged me! :D

Nick told me yesterday that he really didn’t understand the importance of voting. He’s a junior, and the assembly was only for seniors, but I wanted him to see the movie, so I wrote him a pass and he came today. He was so nice to me (RARE) and he actually said he was proud of me! It was shocking. And later, he told me that the movie totally changed his mind and he realized his vote is important and now he totally cares about voting! <3

I was on a relief-high after all that cuz I was THRILLED that it was all over, lol, and I told mom, “Ya know, if you wanna go ahead and take me with you, that’d be fine” (I still had two periods to go, but I didn’t feel like staying). And guess what? She said okay! That was awesome. I love leaving school early, lol. So we went to get lunch and then she dropped me off at Starbucks so she could go to a meeting with her boss.

I got delicious coffee, of course. Eventually, mom came and picked me up and we came home. I practiced my routine three times in a row, lol. Then we left for an appointment mom had. I rocked out in the car the whole time. XD Twas quite fun, actually. At 4:30, we picked dad up and then teh rents dropped me off at school. I embarass easily when it comes to being up in front of people, so I asked mom and dad not to come and they agreed. <333

I helped set up the chairs for the audience in the X Theater, which is where we held Gallery X. ;] The show went very well! And David Rutz (a senior last year, now a freshman in college) stopped by to perform! It was really nice to see him, I missed him. My routine went on without a hitch, thankfully. I didn’t screw up once. *WHOOT* And I wrote a quote from Stephen on my hand to keep me going: ”[I'll do] anything for a laugh.” The title of this post is from the Dancing Muchachos song, lol.

Uh, so…after the show, we cleaned everything up and got to drink the left-over soda and eat the left-over popcorn and cotton candy. Scrumptious, I say. X] And I got an extra cotton candy for Nick cuz he LOVES cotton candy. Then mom and dad picked me up and we went home and watched Jeopardy (which we DVR’d). And I knew the answer the Final Jeopardy, which I NEVER know the answer to, lol! It was AWESOME.

And now we’re all caught up. I’m totally wiped out, but I will be up for…prolly another hour and 20 mins, til 11:00. I’ve got a huge test on Friday in AP Gov., which=suckishness. The problem with that, lol, is that I have a short story I’m working on that I want done by Halloween (it’s Halloween-themed), but I don’t think I’ll have enough time. *is bummed* I do get out of half my school day, though, cuz I have a DARE thing at an elementary school! :D

I’m done now, I swear, lol.

What Are You, Darth Vader?

Hello people!

I had another crazy dream I remembered this morning. I don’t wanna go into detail cuz the more I think about a certain part, the more grossed-out I get (it has to do with my brother and bleeding and it scares me a little, lol), but one part I remember in particular is that Nick and I were IN a Spyro game. But a certain part: in the third game, you get to skateboard (as Spyro, of course). So, yeah, we were in a new skateboard level. Twas kinda cool.

From yesterday to tomorrow, we have a free period in photo, so I did AP Gov. homework, lol. Math was blahhh. Teach gave us TWO assignments, both of which are ridiculously long. *headdesk* AP Gov. was cool, we didn’t really do anything. Forensics was incredibly dull, as usual. Gahhh, I’m glad that’s a half-year class. We turned in quote poems today (I used Stephen’s quote about laughing rather than being afraid).

But during MindCandy, Mr. Smith (a totally awesome dude who works in the office) came and got me from class and Messick, Miss Kopp (my English teacher from two years ago) and I all went to the office to talk about “18 in ‘08.” See, the people at 18 in 08 wanted me to pay for the dude’s cab fare who’s coming to school tomorrow. And we don’t have the money for him (and, really it’s not our responsibility to pay for this guy’s cab).

So we talked about what we could do. Mr. Smith said he’d be more than willing to go pick this guy up, but we tried calling him (his name’s David), and he didn’t answer his phone. Mr. Smith sent David an email, but as of now, I have not heard anything and it’s freaking me out a little. David better have flown out here today like he said he would and if he didn’t, I’m gonna be SEVERELY pissed off.

Anywho, it went very well, and afterwards, Chris gave me a ride home. Mom was home, but dad had the car today, so she couldn’t pick me up. We hung out and I made hot chocolate cuz I was FREEZING. It’s pretty cold here. Well, actually, it’s not that cold, but the wind is blowing really hard, which makes it feel colder than it is. *shudders*

We had quite a fun time. I got my math homework done (:O) and we listened to the Rocky Horror soundtrack. <3 And it was nice. Oh, we had candy, too, lol. When Nick got home, he joined us and I helped him with his homework (he’s doing something we did a few weeks ago). And he wasn’t a jerk! It was amazing, LOL. XD

The title of this post is something dad said to me. I was holding my hand out like Vader does to choke someone (WITH THE MOTHERFUCKING FORCE…), and dad was like, “What are you, Darth Vader?” As a matter of fact, I was, indeed, acting like Darth Vader. It’s funner out of context. ;]

Tomorrow is “18 in ‘08″! GOD, I’m so excited. At 11:00 AM tomorrow morning, I will officially be 40% more calm, lol! I can’t wait til this whole thing is all over. And Gallery X is tomorrow night. I practiced the Dancing Muchachos routine last night and I’m pretty sure I have it down, but I have to practice a few more times tonight. WHOOT.

OH! And don’t forget, guys! Tomorrow night is when LiveJournal goes offline! That’s about it. I did have a much better day today, everyone’s very chill, lol. So. Yay!

One Who Knows Nothing Can Understand Nothing

Hello people!

Gahhh what a nightmare today has been. I slept really well last night, though, lol.

Photo was decent, we didn’t really do anything. I did my math homework. Math was okay. We didn’t really do much. Um…we also didn’t do much in AP Gov. Went on a tangent, ya know. Same ol’, same ol’. Messick and I had some work to do for 18 in ‘08, so she and I stayed after class and went to the office. We got some stuff worked out and I had to call a BUNCH of people tonight cuz of it, so that was kinda suckish.

Oh, and I met this teacher, Mr. Kruder (sp?), who I’ve heard quite a bit about and wow. He’s pretty damn cute cool, imo. Anywho, I got to miss most of forensics, which rocked. And my friend let me copy off of him, lol, so yay. MindCandy was pure awesome. That girl, Olivia, who drew that cute manga drawing I posted last week is working on a manga drawing of the whole class! It’s SO awesome. And we chilled and chatted with Robbins today. <3

I had to make up a math quiz after MindCandy, which BLEW cuz it was no calculator. Gross. I don’t think I did very well. Grr. My own fault, I forgot to study. I got stopped in the hallway by Messick, who told me we had to talk to the principal about some shit for 18 in ‘08 again. We got done fairly quickly, thankfully.

Mom picked me up and we went home. We called a buncha people we had to contact for 18 in ‘08 and got virtually everything done. At about 1:30, we went to a blood drive down the street. Unfortunately, neither mom nor I had enough iron in our blood to donate at the time, so we couldn’t. Meh. The title of this post is from Kingdom Hearts. I love that quote, it’s epic and beautifully true.

I gave mom my report card when we got home and got yelled at and I think most of you read my last post where I mentioned the consequences, but I’ll repeat them. My computer time has been severely limited and I’m not allowed to watch as much TV anymore, though I dunno what that means…I only watch TV with my rents most of the time, so…yeah.

I confirmed pretty much everything for 18 in ‘08. It’s still a huge weight on my mind, though. Guh. I’ll be happy when it’s Thursday and everything’s behind me. Speaking of shit that’s stressing me out, Gallery X is Wednesday and I haven’t practiced the Dancing Muchachos routine in, like, two weeks. I really should. I’m so nervous about doing it up on stage in front of people. *shudders*

That’s about it, I guess. I just wanted to say I really love you guys, lol, you pretty much KICK ASS. <3

Partnership for An Idiot-Free America

Hello people!

I dunno how long I have cuz my poor Tyrone keeps freezing. He’s not feeling too well, I spose. So I’ll have to try to get this done as fast as possible.

Okay, remember a while ago how I bought that Sleep pillow spray from Bath and Body Works? I stopped using it for a while cuz I just forgot about it, but I used it the past few nights and now, every night that I use it, I remember dreams quite vividly. It’s weird. And, I sleep for a really long time. *shrugs* It must really work, lol.

I woke up at 11:30 today and when I came out from my room, mom was like, “Did you stay up late last night?” And I said no cuz I was only up til…what…one? If that? She said, “Then why’d you sleep so late?” As if it’s completely under my control how long I sleep. I dunno about you guys, but I have absolutely NO control over when I wake up. If my alarm clock goes off, I’ll get up, but I can’t simply wake up on my own.

Anywho, I took a shower. Afterwards, mom and dad asked me to watch Prison Break with them. So we watched it and then Nick pissed dad off about doing some chores or something, so we had to clean the bathroom. I hate cleaning the bathroom almost as much as I hate doing the dishes, and that’s A LOT. But we got it done pretty fast and then I started watching a movie I taped last night.

Speaking of, on Turner Classic Movies last night, they were having a crazy killer marathon. Psycho was on, and I’d never seen it before, so I watched it. I gotta say, I know it must have been scary when it first came out, but it’s definitely NOT scary now. It was stupid, imo. Especially a specific scene regarding the PI. Um, yeah, pretty lame.

Then, they had Peeping Tom on, and Celli had mentioned it last night, so I figured I’d check that out, too. It was decent. Much better than Psycho. A little odd, but all those older horror movies were, weren’t they? Strait-Jacket was on afterwards, and I thought it sounded cool, but I had to go to bed, so I taped it. And that’s what I watched today. It’s okay. I dunno, it’s really kinda weird. I dunno, I don’t dislike it but I don’t like it. *shrugs*

Moving on. Dad and I went to get a car battery for my sweet car, Jaws, and then we stopped at good will so I could find some cowboy boots. Guess what? They didn’t have any. Halloween is THIS FRIDAY and I still don’t have cowboy boots. I’m kinda losing my mind over this, lol. I can’t pay more then $20 for a pair cuz I’m not gonna wear them again, but it seems like NOBODY sells cowboy boots! We checked eBay, but they’re so expensive…

Whilst out, we saw a car with a bumper sticker that said, “Partnership for an Idiot-Free America.” I thought it was hilarious, lol. OH! Heads up, guys: incase you don’t know yet, THIS WEDNESDAY (Oct. 29th) from 8:30 PM til 12:30 AM (that’s Pacific time…Eastern time, it’s 11:00-11:30 PM), LiveJournal will be OFFLINE. They are working on a server. So, yeah. Here’s the article.

I feel like I’m forgetting something, damn it. Oh, bother. Think, think, think. Nope, it’s gone.

There’s an Eye In Me Soup

Hello people!

Mom had an appointment at noon today and I wanted to go with her. I told her last night that I wanted to go with her, and she said we might go shopping afterwards. She then said she’d wake me up, but it’d have to be kinda early. I said okay. Well, I didn’t wake up til 11:58 this morning. *facepalm*

I was a little bummed that mom and dad didn’t even try to wake me up, but oh well. Nick was still sleeping, so the house was really quiet. It was actually kinda nice. I took a nice, relaxing shower and then went to my room and got online. I didn’t really have anything planned for today, though I should’ve watched TDS/TCR. But Hocus Pocus came on ABC Family eventually, so I had to watch it, lol.

Then The Corpse Bride was on, which I don’t like very much cuz it depresses me, but there are some funny parts, so I watched that, too, lol. That’s where the title of this post is from. One of the dead people’s eyes falls into a guy’s bowl of soup, lol. Um…mom and dad came home with chicken from Chick-Fil-A. It was good, but now I’m really full and my stomach hurts. X] Um…yeah. Really, very little happened today.

This has been going around school, via cell phones, and I dunno how many of you have seen it cuz I can’t find it online. It’s NSFW, just so ya know, lol. Careful where you look at it, but I think it’s hilarious. XD Oh, I also made an icon of Dean’s scream from Yellow Fever (Supernatural), as well as a Jack Skellington icon:

Photobucket  Photobucket

Okay, Celli and I are playing this freaking awesome game, lol, and I want you guys to join in. SO, the objective of the game is to take the names of whatever scary movies you can think of and make them dirty. For example: The Ring becomes The Cock Ring. The House of 1000 Corpses becomes The House of 1000 Porn Stars. And so on, and so forth, lol. So let’s see what you can come up with! XD

That’s about it, methinks, lol.

Well…It Was Cold…

Hello people!

It was incredibly hard to get up this morning. I slept really well, surprisingly. And thankfully! :D

Apparently, today was Senior Skip Day [Part 1], and I was never told, lol. And, because of the HUGE game last night between my school and our rivalry school, a TON of people were not in school today. So we did virtually nothing in all classes, which made me happy like whoa, lol.

Photo was somewhat lame cuz Mrs. Owens wasn’t there and this really annoying perky lady was our sub. I kinda wanted to tell her to shut up, lol, but obviously, I didn’t. I developed a few more pics today and they’re pretty cool, even though they are fairly grainy/blurry…I definitely prefer 100 speed film, it’s clearer.

Math was stupid. I did miss a quiz yesterday, but since we had a sub, I didn’t have to take it today! WHOOT! Our student teacher veered off the road on his way to school to miss a deer, and he wound up in a ditch and hide to ride in a cop car. One of the girls in class was like, “Oh, they let you ride in their car?” and he said, ”Well…it was cold.” Ooh, and we had Federalist Cake in AP Gov. today!!! It was pumpkin, too, and it was delicious. That class is normally small (11 people total), but today, it was even worse (only 7 people), lol, so we were VERY laid back and basically just conversed. It was quite fun, actually!

In forensics, we watched TWO Forensic Files AND we got candy! MindCandy was great, too. We didn’t really do anything, but we had hilarious convos and laughed pretty much the whole time. OOH! And a friend of mine in that class, Olivia, likes to draw Manga stuffs. She said, “Tell me something to draw.” So I said to draw me, and then draw Stephen Colbert. This is what came of it. I LOVE IT! :DDD And, a few of us did the Time Warp together. Yeah, it was pretty freaking awesome, lol.

Oh, jeez, the best part of the day: report cards were held at school cuz of the huge number of students and teachers that weren’t there. XD So, yeah, that made me happy. Mom picked me up at 12:30. It was raining ALL DAY and it’s wonderful. We haven’t had rain in a very long time and I LOVE the rain. <3

Mom did some work stuff when we got home and I watched The History of Halloween, which was a special on History Channel not too long ago. It was pretty cool! Very interesting. I fell asleep, then mom left to pick dad up and do other stuffs, and I slept for a few hours until Nick came out and woke me up to do the dishes. I did. X] Then I watched the news and found out National City was bought by PNC. Suckish. National City is my and my parents’ bank. I hope it won’t affect us too much. They said it wouldn’t.

Then I watched Cash Cab and pretty soon, mom and dad came home with delicious chicken nuggets from Applebee’s for dinner. And then, they gave me a beautiful snowflake blanket and they got the new PS3 version of Bioshock for Nick (and no, it’s not exactly the same as the XBOX 360 version).

There was a question on Cash Cab about popping and locking. Why do I know that ”lock” comes after pop? How did that ever worm its way into my brain? *shakes head* Jon and Stephen fangirls should go read blossomcup’s post about the awesome election day marathon Comedy Central is doing! :D Bow down to blossomcup, for she is an overflowing grail of fangirl knowledge!

Last night’s episode of Supernatural was one of my fave eps OF ALL TIME. It was so funny, OMG. My favorite part? Dean’s freakish girly scream. And the special ending wasn’t too bad, either. I’ve prolly watched that first clip, like, ten times in a row, now, lol. It just amuses me to no end. Speaking of videos, here’s one Tyler (from the 5AwesomeGays) made today regarding voting.

GAH! I got pushingarock’s CD in the mail today. And it made me cheery and bummed, lol. The former cuz WHOO NEW MUSIC. The latter cuz I have yet to send mine out. *headdesk* I feel guilty, LOL. So, yeah, I’m gonna try to get those out this weekend, if I can get to the post office. I might be able to go tomorrow.

I think that’s it. Today was as good as Wednesday was bad, lol. Such a great day. And, I wanna thank you guys who replied to my post last night and made me feel all kinds of happy. You guys are the best friends EVER. <3

Be Mischievous; It Feels Good

Hello people!

I’m exhausted. I’ve done nothing all day. Seriously, if anything, I was kinda lazy today, but I feel so lethargic, it hurts to move. *shakes head* I need, like, a week of sleep.

Photo was good, I developed some pics today! They look pretty cool, but I had to use 400 speed film, which makes the pics a little more grainy than if I’d used 100 speed film, so they’re kinda…slightly fuzzy, actually. Still though. They’re schaweet. XD Um, math was lame-ass’d, as usual. We took a quiz today and I think I prolly got an A- or around there. I think we have a quiz tomorrow, too. *guh*

AP Gov. was okay. We talked about federalism and Jen stopped in to give Messick some apple crisp. She stayed for the rest of class and it was quite fun, lol. Uh, forensics was boring, blah blah blah. But MindCandy was very fun. We had to bring in quotes, as I said yesterday, and I brought in “I Am America (And So Can You!)” from which to pick a quote. I ended up picking the first two paragraphs of the Atheist section of the Religion chapter. And I re-read the SEX chapter throughout the course of the day. X] It made me happy, lol.

These are the other quotes I picked… )

We read most of our quotes aloud, and Robbins really liked the Colbert and Stewart quotes, lol. <3 He pretty much RULES. Jen and I went to Panera for lunch (and OMF she’s driving my mom’s work car! not, like, mom’s car, but the same model and such). I got a delicious sandwich and a cheese danish and another frozen caramel coffee. I really love Panera. They kick ass.

We talked and laughed and whatnot, lol, for about forty minutes, I would guess, and then Jen drove me home. But she kinda got lost for a minute, LOL! Love ya, Jen. ;] I got home at about…I think 1:30, 1:40? I don’t even know. I wanted so much to sleep, but I’m not allowed to, so I got online instead, lol.

OH! Nick stayed home sick today. Ya know what’s wrong with him? He has a sore throat. A month or so ago, when I was throwing up, I was forced to go to school. I feel like the fucking sister in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. It’s ridiculous! And I glared at dad this morning when he told me why Nick was staying home, and he was like, “WHAT?! What’s wrong with YOU?!” I just rolled my eyes and dropped it cuz no one in my house ever sees my POV. It really pisses me off, though. He’s treated so fucking special. I hate it.

Anyway, Since I got home, I’ve felt so tired. I don’t know why, but I swear, I could fall asleep right now and not get up til noon tomorrow. Unfortunately, there’s no way I can stay home “sick” for a long time, cuz mom and dad will prolly think I’m faking, even if I’m not. *grrness* Um…that’s it, I guess. Oh, the title of this post is from a Dove chocolate wrapper. Ya know how the small ones have messages on them? *points to title* That was one, lol.

The financial aid thing from last night was stupid. Sooooo boring. I might lose some computer/TV time (maybe even lose my computer altogether *tears*) when my rents see my grades on Friday. I dunno what I’m gonna do. And I feel like I’m being suffocated. I can’t explain my existence right now, but I can tell you I’m not pleased with it. I wish it would just be fucking May already. I can haz diploma nao? *grabby hands*

I wanna write. Goddamn it. I wanna write.

Like Music Playing In the Air; Invisible, But Everywhere

Hello people!

I don’t remember any dreams from last night. But I slept quite well. YAY! Photo was decent today, I developed my film and most of my pics came out, though a few of the first ones on the roll got fucked up. *shrugs* S’okay, I don’t mind. Math was boring, but I found out my grade and I’m so upset about it. It’s my fault, of course, but damn. It’s the exact same grade I had on my interim, and I promised I would bring it up by now. *shudders*

Same with my AP Gov. grade, unfortunately. Though that’s cuz we did, like, nothing since the interim. We just talk all the time. FUCK. Excuse the excessive swearing. Sometimes, ya just gotta say, “fuck.” Anywho, Gov. was kinda boring. We went on a tangent but I don’t recall what about…uh…nope. Don’t remember. Forensics, we did a lab but it was not fun, lol. Grrrr to that class.

MindCandy was cool. We didn’t do much. Ooh, but we have the awesomest assignment for tonight; bring in 10 quotes tomorrow! :D  I’m SO bringing in some from my list there *points*. If you guys have any others that I don’t have up that you think are funny or are a good statement on society or politics or whatevs, feel free to post ‘em!

Jen came to visit about half an hour before class ended, which rocked! :D I missed Jen, it’s nice to see her again. We chatted for a bit, and Mr. Robbins joined in. Then, mom picked me up and we went to Michael’s. That was kinda boring, we just got paint for dad. Then we went to Wal*Mart and I got two new shirts and some new underthings, LOL. Uh…then mom took me back to school to do my second proposal.

It went rather smoothly and it was (almost) a unanimous vote! One kid said no, but fuck him, LOL. Everyone else said yes, so they’re funding “18 in ‘08″! :D WHOOT! *is so happy* Jen and I met up for a couple more minutes and we walked to the parking lot together. She got her license, today, btw! GO JEN! Mom and I stopped at Panera again, but they didn’t have any cheese danishes. So I got a chocolate chip bagel instead.

It was still good. I also got a frozen caramel coffee and that was also delicious, lol. Mom and I chatted about the mind of a killer and the seven wonders of the world. It was fun! Then we picked dad up from work and came home. Unfortunately, we have to go to a STUPID FUCKING LAME-ASS thing at school at 7:30. It’s about financial aid and shit for college. I really don’t wanna go. I hate leaving the house after I’ve gotten home. It’s weird, I know, but I desperately wanna just chill at home, watch Jeopardy, and hang online. *headdesk*

Fuck LJ. For serious. I haven’t gotten all my email notifications for every comment for the past three days. I had this problem a few months ago, and then it just stopped, but now it’s starting up again. I can’t even begin to explain how much I hate this problem. I need to be fucking notified when I get comments. I hate the LJ inbox, it’s very unorganized compared to my Outlook Express, so it annoys me. MUST GET GODDAMN NOTIFICATIONS.

The title of this post is from Nightmare Before Christmas, specifically the song, “Jack’s Obsession.” It’s been in my head all day, so I figured a line from it would be a good title since I have nothing funny to use. Uhh…I think that’s it. If I haven’t replied to your comments yet (it’s mostly on the writer’s block: secret crush post cuz I didn’t get ANY of the notifications for that), I apologize. I like to reply to comments ASAP, but I just don’t have much time tonight. I might be able to reply to them before we leave, I’m not sure. If I can, I will.

I guess I’ll talk to you guys later.

You’ve Gotta Do It Yoda-Style

Hello people!

You’re gonna think I’m so utterly lame, lol, but after my Goosebumps-athon yesterday, I had trouble getting to sleep last night. See, I looked up every episode on Wikipedia and read the plots (which, sans lame-ass actors, could actually be quite frightening). Then, I was reading Twitter, and someone posted that they were watching “A Tale of Two Sisters”, which is a Japanese (methinks) horror film.

I looked up the film on Amazon and they always show other movies that are similar to the product you’re looking at, ya know, so they had a buncha other Japanese horror films shown. I started clicking through ‘em and reading the plots in the dark cuz it was 11:30 at night. And then I went to bed. I could not fall asleep until 1:30. It was my own fault, I spose, but I just kept thinking about the movies and Goosebumps and monsters and blahhh.

I fell asleep clutching Rose (my fave teddy bear) and my dagger that I usually keep under Teddy (my giant teddy bear). Hehe. I woke up at 4:00, tossed and turned a bit, fell back asleep. Woke up at 5:00, tossed, slept, woke up at 5:30 and was pretty much awake til my alarm went off at 6:00. I desperately wanted to stay home but I’m not allowed unless I’m hacking up a lung or something.

Apparently, teh rents didn’t sleep well last night either, so everyone was tired. *shrugs* We had a 50 minute late start this morning but teh rents couldn’t give us a ride to school (work conflicts), so we had to take the bus at the regular time. Which means we had to sit in the cafeteria for an hour until school ACTUALLY started. There were a ton more kids there than I hoped would be and they WOULDN’T STFU. Which pissed me off.

Oh, OH, remember how my headphones broke last week? And Nick loaned me his, but then took them back on Saturday to use for the weekend? Well he didn’t give them back to me this morning, so I couldn’t listen to my music AT ALL and that really bums me out. I need my effing music, lol, so yeah, I was in a bad mood.

However, the annoyingly chatty people in the cafeteria did inspire me to write a new dark story. So…yay…? XD I spent most of the time writing until class started. We did nothingness in photo. We also did nothing in math. We had our press conference in AP Gov., and unfortunately, my group had to go and we weren’t really that prepared. Half our group forgot stuff. *headdesk* So we didn’t do too well, but that’s okay.

Forensics was so epically dull. I kinda hate that class. All we did was take notes. MindCandy was a blast, as usual. We’re starting a new project (NO MORE POETRY WHOO): we’re making zines! :D We’re making them in funky designs, like one of them is a box with an accordion format inside the lid so that all the writings and drawings that they put in the zine basically folded out like an accordion.

So my format is gonna be a TV with each different poem and quote and short story I put in as different channels that slide in-and-out of the screen. It’s kinda hard to explain, but I’ll post a pic of it when it’s done. Which won’t be for a long time, LOL! XD Then we had free time, and Tyler started narrating the actions of everyone in class and it was furcking HILARIOUS. We all secretly agreed to do the same to Tyler tomorrow and it’s gonna rock, lol.

The title of this post is something Bryan said in MindCandy (I call him Adams, can you guess why?). Tyler was saying a few sentences the way Yoda would say them (i.e.: “Tired, she is.”). Then Tyler said something normal and Adams was like, “You’ve gotta do it Yoda-style!” and I replied, “That’s what she said.” XD TWOOT.

Let’s see…oh, right! Like I said yesterday (right…?), I had to stay after school today to propose to get funding for “18 in ‘08″ from the Student Senate, so I went to the library to just chill for the two and a half-ish hours I had to wait. I figured I could get some writing done on the computer. I saw a bud of mine, Bosco, sitting in the corner, so I joined him and we talked and laughed and such for about thirty-forty minutes, lol. It was fun!

I spent the rest of the time writing. I made significant progress in my first dark story I mentioned yesterday (I believe). I was quite proud of myself, lol. At 2:00, mom called me and said she was outside and asked if I wanted to come with her to get a drink before I had to go do the proposal thing. We stopped at Donatos and got drinks then decided to get some chicken fingers, which were surprisingly good! :D

We went back to school and I did my presentation to four people, which took me about a minute, lol. They said, “That sounds cool, come back tomorrow and present to everyone else.” So now I have to stay after AGAIN. Grrness. But I guess I can spend my time writing like I did today. Which is always fun. After that, mom and I went to Panera and I got a cheese danish (OMF, it was so good) and a frozen caramel drink.

We stopped off at Giant Eagle and got some random stuffs. I forced convinced mom to get me another Goosebumps DVD which has four eps on it. YAYZ! X] Then we had to go pick dad up from work, then we had to go get Nick from the coffee shop. And finally, we came home. Tonight is a big night for TV, but we’re all so tired, we’re just gonna record everything from 9:00 on and go to bed early. I’m looking forward to sleeping.

And now, I think I’ll go make some food.

You’re Just Letting Them Go? Yeah, You Worry Too Much

Hello people!

I can’t stop watching Goosebumps, guys. I’m freaking hooked. I know they’re stupid, but I just love them!

Okay, for the third time this weekend, I slept til 11:00 today. I had a dream that I totally don’t remember right now…but I remember thinking, “God, I should get up, it’s prolly 3:00 by now.” That was kinda weird…

I took a shower and got online and then dad said he and I were gonna go to the Wal*Mart in Grove City, which is WAY better than our Wal*Mart. We left at about 1:30, I think. We got a buncha stuff at the store, including an awesome white, button-down shirt for me to wear with my suit on Halloween, and a beanie with a bill that says Miami Ink and has a skull on it. It’s really cool and I’ve wanted one for a while, so, whoo! :D

Then we stopped at Circuit City and dad got a few scary movies that were on sale. He bought me Seven, which I thought sounded cool but haven’t seen yet. We also got Pet Semetary, Carrie, and a few other movies. I wanted to go to the Salvation Army and see if they had cowboy boots that were similar to Chuck Noblet’s, also for my costume, but they were closed. Just another reason to hate Sundays.

We got home at about 4:30 and basically chilled. I watched some eps of Goosebumps on YouTube. See, yesterday, I watched the Goosebumps DVD that dad got us a while ago. It was stupid and definitely not scary, but I can’t help it, I absolutely love Goosebumps. So I went on YouTube and searched for eps and I’ve been watching ones I’ve never seen since 9:00 last night. The title of this post is from Goosebumps: One Day at Horrorland.

This family is on vacation and they’re trying to find Zoo Gardens when they happen upon a place called Horrorland, which is an amusement park of sorts. The mom is worried it’s not safe, but the kids wanna go off by themselves and go on rides. So the dad says, “Okay, kids, meet us back here in half an hour.” or something to that effect, and the mom’s like, “You’re just letting them go?” and he says, “Yeah, you worry too much.” And it’s hysterical cuz she doesn’t try to stop them or anything, she just lets them go. *shakes head*

I’m working on a horror story that was sposed to be about cheating (as suggested by my loverly wifey <3) but it kinda morphed into this crazy weird ghost/killer story. *shrugs* But I like it thus far. And it’s not a fic, so I’m making up my own characters, which I don’t think I’m very good at, but I guess we’ll see, cuz I’m gonna post it when I’m done. Just in time for Halloween.

Oh, last night, I found out that dad bought Nick a special edition of Metal Gear Solid 4 not too long ago. Normally, I wouldn’t give two flying monkeys, but since we already own a copy of the game, I don’t understand why they bought a special edition one as well. Especially since, ya know, I need a new battery for my computer and my dad’s so worried about paying too much in a store that he wants me to browse eBay.

I really don’t trust eBay all that much, mostly cuz I don’t trust other people to send me what they advertise they’re gonna send, but why can dad blow $40 on a special edition of a game we already have (and all it comes with extra is a little box and a DVD), when there are things that I need/want that I’m not gonna get til Christmas? I try not to ask for stuff too much cuz I’m involved with family sitch’s and I know what’s going on usually.

Since mom doesn’t technically have much of a job now and we don’t have two cars anymore, I’m not asking my parents to get me stuff cuz I know they need the money to get a new car. But Nick asks for shit all the time and he just gets it! He got that new iPod he wanted, he got this special edition MGS4. Who knows what else he’ll get? Maybe it’s just me, but it doesn’t seem all that fair.

I think that’s it…I’m way behind on TDS/TCR yet again and I dunno when I can catch up. OH, and I have to stay at school til 3-fucking-’o'clock cuz I have to make a proposal for funding “18 in ‘08″ at school and the people don’t meet til 2:45. I dunno what I’m gonna do to kill two hours, but it’s gonna be Hellish, I can tell you that. Where am I sposed to go? The media specialists librarians are such bitches, they prolly won’t let me hang there. Gah.

Time for more Goosebumps.
