Exfoliation At Its Most Extreme…

Hello people!

Gah, I woke up writhing in pain. I…uh…ya know, it’s that time. Normally, I wouldn’t divulge that info cuz I personally think that’s TMI, but I’ve been in pain all day and it’s prolly gonna come up at some point, LOL. So, yeah. I desperately wanted to take today off and sleep, but mom made me go to school. *bitchslap*

I forgot to mention that it’s spirit week. Yesterday was Dress Like a Pirate day, and today was Fictional Character day. I wanted to dress as “Stephen Colbert,” cuz…technically, ya know, he plays a character on TCR. So I put on a suit and tie and wore my glasses and looked rather schnazzy, if ya ask me, haha, but very few people got who I was, so I told some people I was Stephen Colbert and other people that I was an honest politician. ;]

We didn’t do anything in photo today, so I finished my math homework. We did nothing in math, either, so I just chilled a bit. In AP Gov., we graded a couple papers and I didn’t do too well, but I expected that, lol. *shrugs* Forensics was dull; we just took notes. And MindCandy was boring. It was a Gallery X work day and the guy we had to talk to wasn’t there, so we couldn’t do anything.

Mom picked me up and took me home at 1:00 and we relaxed a little. Mom said she was tired but she wanted to watch something so we went to my room to watch Two and a Half Men and Kitchen Nightmares. She fell asleep during Men but woke up and watched Nightmares with me. It was ridiculous; this douchey guy was part-owner of a place in NYC and he was SO effing egotistical. Gordon had to give up on the guy at the end. *shakes head*

I took a nap for about two hours, which I very much needed. It was niiiiiiiiiice. Tds_tcr_love posted this Stephen clip and I remember the first time I saw it, and I just thought it was the funniest goddamn thing ever. I love it, so I wanted to repost it for you guys to see. WATCH IT. Ahh, and I was watching random vids on YouTube and I watched this banned commercial and could NOT stop laughing, lol. HILARIOUS.

Tomorrow’s Decade Day at school and I would love to wear a silver jump-suit or something and say I was from 2121. That’s a decade! XD I think that’d be awesome. But alas, I have no such suit. I dunno what I’m gonna wear tomorrow. I don’t really care, lol.

The title of this post is from Cash Cab and is only amusing when taken out of context, lol. Uh…House and Fringe are on tonight, but I still haven’t watched LAST week’s House. I’m afraid I might end up dropping House. I just find myself losing interest and with the iminent bullshit coming up (yeah, I read a spoiler *facepalm*), I don’t think I can keep watching it. It’s just been so lacking lately…

I started a new fic cuz tigris18 has been saying how she’s thinking of doing crossover fics (well, kinda…replacing regular characters with Stephen, Jon, Paul, etc.). But mine is an actual crossover; “Stephen” and Jon meet Booth and Bones. I think it’s coming along nicely thus far. I dunno when I’ll get it done, but I’m aiming for Friday at the latest.

I…uh…I think that’s it…

Oh My God, You Mean You! Ha Ha Ha!

Hello people!

I slept an extra half hour this morning. It was loverly. I watched The Fairly Oddparents and Jimmy Neutron. They were funny and I miss watching them, lol.

My friend, Deidre, gave us a ride to school, which was incredibly nice of her, imo. <3 Photo was somewhat boring; we took notes. But we had a film prepping contest for two extra credit points and I won! :D YAY! Though I could use those points ELSEwhere, lol (like, ya know, AP Gov. or math). Still. Awesomesauce.

Mr. Pagnanelli (math teacher) was home sick today, so we didn’t do anything! TWOOT! AP Gov. sucked; we finished our testing shit and we have a paper due tomorrow, but I didn’t do it yet and I prolly won’t get it done til much later tonight (like, just before I go to bed). We watched a Forensic Files in forensics today, which made me SO HAPPY, you have no idea. I’ve seen it before, but I love that show so much, I just don’t care, lol.

Our “I Am” poems were due in MindCandy today. Some of us read them aloud, including myself. I was so afraid it was gonna be suckish, but when I was done (and I feel like I sound terribly cocky saying this), everyone applauded and Mr. Robbins was like, “That was great! That was really great! Great job!” And no one else got applause, so it made me really happy, lol! :}

Mom picked me up and we had to stop at her office for a bit (which turned into a half freaking hour). I rocked out to some awesome muzak and then we went to Kroger. Well, I tried to find the latest fucking issue of EW and I canNOT find it! I’m going crazy, cuz people on my flist keep getting it but it’s not in any of the stupid damn stores in the area! GAH MUST HAVE TEH MAGAZINE! Then we went home.

There was a movie on Starz called, “The Last Supper.” It’s got Cameron Diaz in it, and a couple minor guest appearances by other people (Jason Alexander, Ron Pearlman, Bill Paxton). It’s a little weird, but it’s funny. I liked it. It’s about grad students who invite strangers over every Sunday to have some intelligent conversation. One Sunday, this asshole (Paxton) is invited. It turns into this hilariously obscure movie and you should rent it (plus, one of the guys, Marc, kinda looks like young!Jon, to me…a little bit).

After that, this movie called, “Uncounted” came on. It was about politics, so we decided to watch it. Oh my god, if you haven’t seen it (and I’ve never heard of it), you should see it. I mean, you really need to see it. It’s about the 2000/2004 elections and conspiracies. It prolly sounds like liberal drivel to some people, but it’s heart-wrenchingly eye-opening. It’s…I can’t even describe it. It made me cry, because I know it’s true. And it scares me.

Can you imagine what would have happened to this country if Kerry had been President? I’m not just blathering here, I want you to literally sit back from your screen and think – really fucking think – what would we be like if we hadn’t had Bush for another term? Would we be out of Iraq? Would we be without the massive crushing debt/failing stock market that we have now? Would we be a better country for it? Or would we be as we are now?

So, the bailout failed. What now? I mean, WTF now? Shouldn’t they come up with a new solution before tearing apart the only one we have (even though it fucking sucked anyway)? I’m so confused over this goddamn bailout shit I don’t even know what to think anymore.

Moving past the politics now…that’s about it. Title of this post is from Ghost Town. There’s a shitload of TV on tonight, including the premiere of Chuck on NBC at 8:00. Then, ya know, Heroes and Prison Break and Two and a Half Men. YAY TV.

Jeezus chryzt, I need to write.

My Patience Is a Candle That Burns at Both Ends

Hello people!

I slept splendidly last night. I sprayed the Sleep pillow mist stuff on my pillows and I think it helped. GAH, it smells so fucking good. I love it. <3

I got up at about 7:30 and mom and I went to the lobby to get coffee. She got some breakfast but I didn’t really want anything from there. We went back to our room and I had the rest of my cheesecake from last night. It was delicious, lol, and a loverly breakfast. ;] I took a shower and when I came out, mom had The Colbert Report on! :D So that was a GREAT way to start the day. We watched two eps; Wednesday’s and Thursday’s of last week.

That totally brightened the morning. We packed up fairly quickly and went back to The Greene where mom’s dog-show-thingy was going on (that’s why we went out this weekend, incase I didn’t mention that earlier). We set up a joint table with the…um…I forget their name, but they’re vets. Or, the woman was, her husband and kids, however, I don’t think were, lol. But she was utterly annoying.

There were dogs a’plenty and that drove me insane and had me all paranoid and jumpy. And there was this douchebag who had a lisp and he kept hanging around our booth ALL DAY, even though he had nothing to do with us. Nothing, absolutely nothing. He just sat there with his stupid GIANT dog and yammered on about how amazing his stupid dog was. I wanted to tell him to shut the fuck up, but I didn’t, lol.

We bopped into Kay Jewelers cuz mom canNOT stay away from them and she ended up buying a new watch. *rolls eyes* Eventually, the stupid thing ended and we packed up our stuff and decided to get lunch somewhere at The Greene. We stopped at an American Eagle Outfitters cuz our car was parked next to it and there was a GORGEOUS blue and gray checkered shirt that I absolutely loved, but it was 40 fucking dollars, so I couldn’t get it.

That’s one of the biggest reasons I HATE designer-type places. WTF is a shirt priced so fucking high when you could easily get a cheap knock-off in another store for, what, $12? I mean, I know you’re paying for the label but I don’t want the fucking label, I want the goddamn shirt! ARGH! *breathes*

Okay, moving on. So, yeah, we left AE Outfitters and decided to go to Panera Bread for lunch. Let me tell you, they have AMAHZING sandwiches. And their frozen coffees are very good, too! I had a Frozen Caramel and it was pure delicious. Ya know those bottled Starbucks drinks? It tasted like that. MMM. <3

Earlier, I got a Joe Muggs Caramel Macchiato (sp?) and it was pretty good. A teeny bit bitter, but good enough for me to drink, lol. Anywho, following lunch, we left The Greene and drove the hour and a half home. I broke down a little in the car cuz this weekend was sposed to be our getaway from bullshit and, instead, it added to the bitch that my life has been as of late. I’m so sick of everything I just wanna move away and leave school and sleep forever.

Yeah, I”m a downer right now, lol. I’m feeling a bit better since I read some REALLY good smutty awesomeness and watched a bit of “O, Brother, Where Art Thou?” on TV with mom. And I sprayed my pillow with the Sleep stuff and breathed it in for a while and that was fun, LOL. I was gonna watch Jon and Stephen, but I just don’t have the energy or willingness to laugh right now. I think I’m gonna go to sleep…maybe. Though dad would yell at me.

Tomorrow’s Monday and I don’t wanna go to school. Surprise, surprise. I’m so done with high school. I was ready to go to college last year, ya know? I feel like I’m being held back and that I should be working at my bachelor’s degree NOW instead of a fucking year from now. *headdesk* Feel free to ignore these inane ramblings.

Um…here, laugh a little. This is from Top Gear, which is a British show that KICKS ASS. If you have time, watch the Killing a Toyota one, too (it should be listed on the right where they give you more things to watch). This is from The Onion Network on YouTube. It’s a JOKE. Satire. Don’t take it seriously. And it’s hilarious. Oh, and btw, that’s what she said. Gotta love Steve Carell. <3

I made up the title of this post. It’s a “self”-quote. I was SUPER impatient for the dog-show thing to end today, and I said the title of teh post to mom and she was like, “Did you just make that up?” and I said, “Yeah…” and she said, “You should use that on your blog.” There ya go. I think this song and this song are pretty awesome, but these girls got a lot less cute as they got older, if you ask me. *shrugs*

Come Back Soon! What a Terrible Thing to Say at a Hospital…

Hello people!

This has to be fast, I promised mom I’d be super quick, lol.

Today wasn’t as great as we’d hoped it would be. Got up early and rushed around trying to get everything in the car cuz mom hadn’t done anything the night before, which she should have. *shakes head* But we headed out around 10:00 and everything was good and mom was relatively calm, compared to how she usually is.

She had an appointment that took an hour and a half-ish, but after that, we checked into our hotel (Homewood Suites…it ROCKS). Our room is, unfortunately, on the first floor, which we’re not super comfortable with, but it’s a loverly room anyway. We set up our stuff and mom flipped through the channels and found “Music and Lyrics,” which I SO wanted to see (prolly cuz Hugh Grant=win). It was somewhat stupid. But still. Fun to watch the end.

At 4:00, we went to The Cheesecake Factory and I got the bombinest club sandwich and the absolute best fries I’ve ever had ever. They were crisp and salty and freakin delicious, lol. Unfortunately for mom, she didn’t like what she got (a pasta dish), but she was able to order something new and she liked that, so that was good. THEN, we went to the book store we love. Guh.

First of all, it was unbelievably crowded. I’ve never seen it so crowded before! Never! And I hate people, so that was suckish. Second of all, we went to get a frappucino from the cafe (they have particularly good frappucinos there) and guess what? They didn’t have ice. They had NO ICE. Because of the power outage…about a week and a half ago. Ya know what I don’t get? How do the restaurants have ice, but the cafe doesn’t? *facepalm*

We did get a cool board game about movies that sounds super fun (uh…shit…I don’t remember what it’s called). So, we left, and decided to go to the movies cuz we were gonna see “Ghost Town.” We were about 30 minutes early (there’s actually not much to do there…), and we were like, “Oh, tonight blew so far, let’s get something yummy here.” They have a HUGE, like, restaurant-like set-up in the lobby of the theater.

Oh, wait, before that, mom sent me to get the tickets. “Ghost Town” is PG-13, just so you know. So I go up to the lady and tell her what I want and she’s like, ”How old are you?” and I said, “17.” and she was like, “Do you have an ID?” and I was like, “Um…no…my mom’s right over there.” So, basically, she didn’t believe I was 17. Kinda insulting.

Anywho, there was a Starbucks there. Well, I prefer their cold drinks to their hot ones. They didn’t sell cold drinks at this one. *headdesk* There’s also a Ben & Jerry’s there, so I went up there and waited for, like, ten freaking minutes to get service, and then when someone finally acknowledged that I was there, THREE OTHER PEOPLE came up behind that person and were like, “Have you been served yet?”

Finally, we went to see the movie and GUH, that was the saving grace of the evening. Seriously, you guys, go see “Ghost Town.” Ricky Gervais is brilliant, Greg Kinnear is awesome, and it’s just a great movie. I loved it. And the title of this post is from the movie. X] AND AND AND it was filmed in Brooklyn. <3

When the movie let out, we made our way to Bath and Body Works to get some more Sleep stuff cuz it ROCKS. The lady there was a tad rude but whatevski. Then we went back to The Cheesecake Factory to get some…well…cheesecake. We waited for somewhere around ten minutes, which, if you ask me, is a tad ridiculous. But we eventually got the cheesecake and headed back to the hotel and, well, here we are.

I gotta go, mom’s annoyed by the tick-tack of the keys as I type, so adios muchachos!

So This Kind of Thing Happens to You All the Time

Hello people!

I’m beyond exhausted. Which makes no sense cuz I slept very well last night. I dreamt, but I don’t remember what about. But yeah, it was hard to get up this morning. *guh*

Photo was decent. I got to see my awesome contact print from yesterday (finished product) and it looks great! :D Other than that, we didn’t really do anything. Math was fine, but boring; we did TWO lessons today, but they were unbelievably easy. I mean, I whipped through the work he gave us. And other people were like, “Huh? Wuh? Me no gets it.” *headdesk x 1000000*

We had half of our test in AP Gov. today and it was fairly easy, imo. But, then again, I may just be stupid like that, LOL. And then we did current events and I commented on Palin’s claim of foreign policy experience that I mentioned last night. And Messick was like, “That’s really good, good job.” YAY!

Forensics was fine. We had a test and it was easy cake pie/easy pie cake/whatever. I think I prolly got an A- or A, which is cool with me, lol. We had to do a part of the test in the back cuz they were lab-associated things, so I went to the last station, which is the only one I had left to do, and Adam was there doing the lab-thing. So I was standing, waiting til he was done, and the sub (we had a sub today) came up and was like, “One per station.” Then she walked away and I muttered under my breath, “Fuck off.” and Adam laughed. I was amused. X]

Um…right, so, yeah, we didn’t really do anything in MindCandy. We were sposed to work on our “I Am” poems, but I finished mine already, as did half the class, so, instead, we discussed different ways to flip people off and weird talents that we have. I discovered that two girls in my class don’t have gag-reflexes, which makes me angry, LOL. I wish I didn’t have a gag-reflex! JEEZ! XD So yeah, that was really fun.

I hitched a ride with Justin today cuz Chris had to stay til 6th period. And Justin played some pretty good music; The Police, Cake, and U2! YAYZ! And he flipped off houses that had McCain/Palin signs in their yards, which made me laugh, lol. I got home at about 1:12 and chilled. There weren’t many dishes so I decided to ignore them, LOL, which I prolly shouldn’t have done, but oh, well. Mom and dad didn’t say anything bout it.

They got home around 4:00 and mom had an awful headache, which she gets anytime a storm’s a’comin. I, as I stated earlier, was exhausted, so we decided to stay home instead of going to see Eagle Eye. That kinda sucks, I wanted to see that, but oh well. We’ll just have to see it another time, I spose. I took a nap for about half an hour, that was lovely cuz I never get to take naps, lol. <3

Dad and I went out to get fast food dinner cuz we’re too lazy to make something, lol. I got Burger King and it was not fantastic, but I guess that’s to be expected. I wanted to stop at Wal*Mart just to make sure the latest issue of EW wasn’t on sale yet, but dad wouldn’t take me, so grr.

Haha, I brought a bag of candy bars home and mom bought all of them. That’s 20 candy bars, lol. I was like, “Do you wanna buy any?” and she said, “Yeah, but I only have a 20.” so I made a face and she was like, “WTF, gimme all of ‘em.” XD I’m stoked, dude. PLUS, now we have candy! :D

The title of this post is from Cash Cab. Out of context, it’s kinda funny cuz you can apply it to random sitches. I’m not entirely sure what it was in context, but it’s not as funny as out…of…context…yeah. OMG, on the new Facebook (which sucks ASS, btw), if you scroll down to the bottom and click on the language thing, you can select English (Pirate), and then everything is in pirate talk! SO AWESOME! DO IT. DO IT NOW.

I thought I had something else to say, but now I don’t know what it was…damn it. Tomorrow, mom and I are gonna stay at a hotel at the Greene (I think I said that yesterday…) and it promises to be fun, lol. I think we’re gonna go see a movie…though I don’t recall what we agreed on…*shrugs*

Yeah…

And You Ask Yourself, “Who Buys Animal Crackers?”

Hello people!

I took a sleeping pill last night and slept so great, lol. Too great, in fact. I desperately didn’t wanna get up. I actually turned off my alarm and laid back down for a minute, but then dad came and got me up. Damn it.

GAH, photo was super fun! :D We made contact prints, I think is what they’re called, which is what I described yesterday. I totally spaced on bringing stuff in (which we were sposed to do), but I usually carry random things around with me, so I wasn’t completely screwed, lol! It took me, like, six or seven tries, though, til it came out right, and I wasted that much of my own photo paper (we had to use our own). I’m not too pleased about that, lol. That shit’s expensive. But oh well, I guess.

Math was fine. I think I did fairly well on the test. There was only one problem I wasn’t entirely sure about, but everything else (including the bonus) seemed okay! :] Oh, and we were sposed to have our AP Gov. test today, but Messick wasn’t there (I heard her son is sick), so the test was bumped back to tomorrow and Monday, AND the paper that we had due on Monday is now due Tuesday! TWOOT!

Although, AP Gov. was exceptionally dull cuz we had a free period and I didn’t have any work to do, lol. *shrugs* Forensics was boring, too. We did more stuff with paper and this class is so not as fun as I hoped it would be. We have a test tomorrow (surprise!) that’s open-lab but not open-note. How stupid is that? Pretty darn.

MindCandy was okay. We did Gallery X stuff which bores me to no end, but we did laugh and have a good time, so that’s good. Oh, and we wanted to give out animal crackers at Gallery X cuz it kinda goes with our theme of a carnival/circus. Tyler, one of the kids in our class, was like, “Dude, no one likes animal crackers.” Then he launched into this lengthy, hilarious monologue that ended with the title of this post, lol. It was SO FUNNY. You had to be there, though. But yeah, he had everyone cracking up.

Chris gave me a ride home and I did the dishes the second I got home. I’ve been thinking of doing the dance that Stephen, Paul and Mitch do in the Dancing Muchachos skit from Exit 57, cuz I have it memorized (major!dork) for Gallery X, so I practiced it a couple times in the living room cuz NO ONE WAS HOME (YAYZ)! I’ve almost got it down completely, but I keep screwing up on Stephen’s individual part. It’s a little off-beat and that always gets me.

Then I chilled all afternoon cuz I didn’t have any homework! :D Mom made me waffles and sausage for dinner and it was so delicious. Supernatural is on tonight! HELL YES! And…oh! Kitchen Nightmares, too. And, blech, Grey’s Anatomy premieres tonight, but so does Ugly Betty! YAY BETTY (Grey’s=DISGUSTING)! So, yeah, a good night for TV, overall. I recorded House to be with mom and dad (they don’t like House) and I still haven’t watched it.

I’m actually way far behind on TV stuff (you prolly know that already). I’ve got all those TDS/TCRs, plus House and Two and a Half Men from Monday night. Then, in the living room, there’s Heroes, a couple Paranormal States (which I’m slightly embarassed to say I like), and this cool special that was on History (Discovery?) channel called, “Secrets of the Dinosaur Mummy.” Hello! TWO things I love: dinosaurs and mummies! <3

HAHAHA. Sarah Palin thinks the fact that she can see Russia from her house means she has foreign policy experience. That’s ridiculous! So if I lived next to a CIA spy, I could say I’ve had espionage experience? Or if I lived next to a chef, I could say I’ve had culinary experience? Puh-leaze.

This was on NFZ and I thought it was HILARIOUS, so from The Colbert Report writers to you, enjoy:

8 Possible Election-Year ‘October Surprises’
1. Sarah Palin wins debate using knowledge from Snapple Cap Facts.
2. Bill Clinton endorses Obama.
3. In an effort to appear younger and more hip, John McCain releases a sex ”talkie.”
4. Oak leaves suspend color-turning campaign until financial crisis is resolved. Urge maple leaves to do the same.
5. Sarah Palin turns out to have an embarrassing Ivy League-educated, immensely qualified sibling.
6. Lindsay Lohan goes back to dudes.
7. Osama bin Laden walks into Wasilla, Alaska police station to turn self in. Says, ”I would have been here sooner if you had a decent bridge.”
8. October admits it’s actually January. Election starts all over again.

I saw this video on a website the other day and I fell in love with the song. And this song was playing when Nick’s friend gave us a ride to school yesterday and I actually liked it. Finally, lol, I’m subscribed to Toby Turner on YouTube and he just put up a new song and I love it, lol. Tis funny and catchy. XD

Oh, and incase you haven’t seen this yet, check it out. I don’t think it’s out yet, but I’m buying it the SECOND it hits the shelves in Wal*Mart, lol. I showed mom and she was like, “:O … :D … XD!” (did you like how I did that in emoticons instead of words? ;D). Mom and I are going to the Greene again this Saturday and while I LOVE being there and staying at the hotel we’re going to, I hate that they don’t have Wi-Fi. I’ll be posting early on Saturday.

Tomorrow’s Friday! WHOOOOOO! This was, like, the slowest week ever.

Hi There, I Am the Banana

Hello people!

I woke up a-fucking-gain before my alarm. But it was worse today: I first woke up at 5:20. I was like, “Okay, go back to sleep.” Then I woke up at 5:47. Then 5:51. And then on-and-off for the next ten minutes until my alarm finally went off. I’m exhausted. And the weirdest thing? Every time this happens, I went to sleep earlier than usual the night prior. I usually stay awake til 12:30 or 1:00, but I’ve been goin to bed around 11:00, 11:30 lately. *shrugs*

Then, THEN, when Nick and I were heading out to go to school, we saw that mom’s driver’s side window on her car had been shattered! Fucking shattered! Whoever did it, they had a specific reason for it. They didn’t take the GPS mom has lying in the open, they didn’t take any of the expensive equipment she had in the backseat, they didn’t take her gas card. All they took was a few CDs and some audio books from the library.

I mean, mom has a lot of valuable stuff in her car, and all they took was five CDs and two audio books. I don’t understand why, nor do I understand why they bothered shattering the window just to leave behind what they did. I am glad that they didn’t take anything else, however. Mom filed a police report, but it really scared me. I mean, either it’s some douchebag kid from our neighborhood, or it’s someone who…planned it out or something.

Suddenly, one of Nick’s friends pulled up and was like, “Hey, Derf! Want a ride to school?” His friend had never done that before, but then again, this morning was a very strange one already. He offered to give us both a ride, so I climbed in and was super grateful cuz the bus is so crowded now that it’s three-to-a-seat. *headdesk*

Unfortunately, Nick’s friend BLASTED (and I mean fucking blasted) his music to the point that it really hurt my head, and that seriously doesn’t happen unless the music is ridiculously loud. I’m all for blasting music, but it was scream-o-esque stuff and it gave me quite the headache, lol. Oh, well. I couldn’t ask him to turn it down, I didn’t even know the kid. I think it would’ve been rude to ask him to turn it down. *shrugs*

Photo was cool. We’re learning that we’re gonna do…um…I don’t remember what they’re called, but it’s where you put opaque, translucent, and some other type of object, lol, on a piece of photo paper. Then you expose it to light and you can do layers, if you want, but I don’t think I’m gonna. Then you develop it. It’s REALLY cool and I think I’ll post one once I’ve done one. I saw one of Jen’s last year and it looks so bitchin.

We had evacution and lock-down drills today during math. So we only had a half-class, which is always good. Oh! And I got the quiz back that I thought I did well on, and I got a 20/20! :D I’m stoked bout that, lol. <3 We do have a test tomorrow, but we did a review last night and I got everything correct, so I think I’ll do okay. AP Gov., we didn’t really do much. We talked about Marbury v. Madison and…shit, something else…OH! The Preamble, which I love.

We have a test in Gov. tomorrow AND Friday. I’m really not looking forward to that at all. I think I’m gonna bomb. We continued working on the stupid chromatography scheiss today, which took the whole period, so…yeah. I sold 20 more candy bars today! :D And DUDE, my forensics class pretty much JUMPED me to get my candy, lol. They were like, “ZOMFG CANDY!” I sold…what…like, 12 bars in that class alone, if not more! HEHE!

The title of this post is from this morning’s news. There was a prank at some school, though I don’t think it’s in Ohio, where these two kids dressed up as a gorilla and a banana, and the banana chased the gorilla across the school’s football field during one of the games (it was half-time or something, no one was on the field). Well, the kids got arrested for it (the principal’s a douche). When the news reported on the story and they showed the name of one of the kids, it said underneath this name, “Banana.” Like, that was his title, lol. XD

MindCandy was fun. But GAH! One of my friends, Aleyna, said that someone robbed her house whilst she was staying after school yesterday. A 40-something man with a military-cut and a red sports car came to her house and knocked on the door. When he was sure no one was home, he went to the back of the house, kicked in the back door, put the dog in the bathroom, then started taking electronics out to his car.

He took Aleyna’s computer (which is her life AND is a PC, so there’s the monitor and ALL that crap that goes with it), her printer, her TV, her PlayStation, etc. And the neighbor watched the guy stealing this stuff and thought it was just one of Aleyna’s friends coming over to chill until she got home. WTF?! What friend starts taking stuff out of someone’s house in laundry baskets and is 40 fucking years old? That neighbor sounds like an utter moron.

Hearing that got me REALLY freaked out, especially considering what happened to mom’s car this morning. *shudders* But Aleyna’s okay and thanks goodness she stayed after school or she might’ve been hurt by this guy! Anywho, moving on. We wrote metaphors and euphemisms in MindCandy today and it was quite fun. Mr. Robbins is one of the most awesome teachers ever, lol. He’s very funny. <3

Uh…oh, dad took the day off cuz of the incident this morning, so he and mom picked me up. We went home and I made some pizza rolls for lunch, which was delicious. Oh, but I told mom about what happened with Aleyna and she said that she doesn’t want us staying alone in November when she and dad go to Florida for a week. That really annoys me for two reasons.

One, I’ll be roughly a month and a half away from being 18 years old, and nothing will change in my maturity level in that amount of time. When I’m 18, I’ll be able to do almost anything I want, so I should be allowed to stay alone for a week when I’m that close to being 18. Two, we’d have to have our uncle stay with us and I hate him. I know that sounds awful, but I really completely absolutely despise him. I don’t want him staying with us. *guh*

We haven’t decided yet if he’s staying with us, so I’m gonna try my damndest to convince mom and dad to let me and Nick stay alone. I can’t handle our uncle for a WEEK. So, it just came out today that Clay Aiken is gay. Is that sposed to be news? Cuz I think we all knew that. I mean, really? Come on.

Oh, and real quick: pushingarock and orbitaldiamonds, I burned your CDs today, but I can’t stop at the post office for the right envelopes til Friday or Saturday, so they prolly won’t actually leave the house til this weekend, just so y’all know. But yeah, they’re done! :D BE EXCITED!

I think that’s everything…

You Could Just Pinch His Butt…

Hello people!

I woke up ten minutes before my alarm was sposed to go off today (it didn’t, however, go off cuz I forgot to set it last night). I went back to sleep as fast as possible, and then woke up at 6:03. Not too shabby, I guess, but I don’t understand why I keep waking up before my alarm. I usually don’t do that.

Photo was cool; we took one of our negatives and its matching positive and matched them up however we wanted (side-by-side, mirrored, one on top one on bottom, etc.) on a piece of black paper and it looked cool. Math, we got our test back from about a week ago and I got a C. And a quiz from about a week and a half ago, I think, and that was a B. Not too bad, imo, but not fantastic. We have a test on Thursday. *guh*

A representative from Denison was at school today, so I went to the meeting. Except…there were only seven or eight of us, excluding the rep, so we all just met in the guidance office and it was really small and cosy (kinda like Denison…;D). It was cool, Denison’s got really awesome-sounding internship opportunities; for one of them (I’m not sure which program/major…), you get to go to Chelsea, NY and work for SNL and Rolling Stone! :O

Let’s see…AP Gov., we didn’t really have much time after the meeting, but we did discuss the first Continental Congress. Kinda boring. In forensics, we talked about document analysis and we’re doing chromatography strip testing, which is kinda dull cuz I’ve done it at least twice in the past, so it’s nothing new.

MindCandy was actually somewhat boring, too. Jeez, it was a boring day, lol. Um, we talked a little about Gallery X, then made a list of our quirks and interesting stuff about us for a poem we’re working on. That’s about it. Mom picked me up at about 1:00 and we went to the library so she could return/check out some books and on the way home, we stopped for a frozen coffee (delicious).

Mom and I spent the next few hours when we got home talking about college stuff and going to websites to take down important information. It normally puts me in a bad mood just cuz mom is so naggy about shit (if I wanted to be nagged all the time, I’d get married [excluding my already wifey from that statement cuz she never nags me and is the best wifey ever! <3]), but I was in a fairly good mood until we were done.

I got yelled at again for not having done the dishes yet, even though we’d been doing the college stuff since we got home! I hadn’t had time to do the dishes. And I said I’d do them once mom left for her appointment so she wouldn’t be in my way. And she yelled at me and told me to “get off your lazy ass and do the dishes.” She makes me wanna punch her sometimes, I swear. *headdesk*

I did the dishes and dad stopped home for a moment to change his clothes before going to paint at some lady’s house. He noticed that I wasn’t in the best of moods and was like, “What’s wrong with you?” and I said nothing cuz I didn’t wanna annoy him and mom was right in the next room, I couldn’t very well complain about her. But he didn’t let it go and mom said I was just being immature and it pissed me off quite a bit, again, so I went to my room.

I’m just sick of being yelled at. It never ends! JEEZUS. I’m done. I promise. Am I the only person who thinks it’s obvious that Huskies are dangerous? Aren’t they part wolf? This Husky killed a baby in another city in Ohio and one of the anchors on the news tonight was like, “Now, most people don’t think Huskies are dangerous.” I thought they were definitely thought of as dangerous dogs…*shrugs*

So, it turns out that we just are not sure if we’re gonna move to Connecticut or not, it depends on if we can find a house and teh rents can find a house. SO, I have to look at schools here AND in New England. *so confusing* Oh, well. Anywho, incase you’re curious, here are the colleges I’m looking at now: Denison, NYU, Bard, Amherst, Green Mountain, Emerson, Kenyon. Two in Ohio, two in New York, two in Massachusetts, and one in Vermont.

The title of this post is, obviously, from this video. It just makes me squee SO HARD. I’m so glad for it, it’s cheering me up, lol. This might sound weird, but I wish there was a normal Atheist on TV. I mean, Bones is a great character, but she can be a little too scientifically driven. House is an Atheist, but he’s an ass. I wanna see someone like Booth or Wilson who’s an Atheist. Who’s funny and cool and nice and polite, but is an Atheist. Is that really too much to ask for? We’ll never see it on FOX, what with them being so to-the-right they can’t see the line.

The bailout really scares me. Half because I have no idea if it will actually help, or if it will tear apart what shreds are left of our shit economy. I hate living in this country, sometimes. It’s embarassing, it’s frightening, and it’s annoying as Hell. I wish I could move far away and never have to deal with any of this stupid shit anymore.

I’m staring at a huge pile of my clean clothes that I have to fold. And I really don’t want to.

It May Not Be a Young, Sexy Plum…

Hello people!

To quote the ever-sophisticated Garfield, “I hate Mondays.” They almost always seem to be a bit suckier than any other day, don’t they? I was so tired when I got up this morning; the Emmys made me hyper. X]

Photo was okay, we didn’t really do much. Ahh! But a fellow classmate *STOLE* one of my candy bars and I had to replace it with a dollar myself. That really annoyed me. In math, we had a quiz that I totally forgot we had, but luckily, I’m fairly certain I got 100% on it. It was pretty easy. In AP Gov., we talked about the American revolution. We even watched School House Rock, which I love.

I gotta say, I really hate that we’re taught the incorrect stuff from the beginning. Ya know, Chris Columbus was a hero, we were patriots to break away from Britain, etc. Why are we taught utter lies? I mean, I understand the “harsh truth” might be a little rough, but we’re not talking fucking blood and gore here, we’re talking a dumbass who landed on what he thought was India. We’re talking whiners who didn’t wanna be taxed. I mean, come on.

Okay…forensics! We worked on more forgery stuff. Kinda dull and monotonous. MindCandy was fun. We handed in the imitation poems we had to do this weekend (based on Langston Hughes poems, one of them being Dream Deferred). Annoying Kid begged to read both of his to the class cuz he really wants attention. The rest of the period, we tried taping our commercial, but we kept cracking and laughing. X]

I almost sold all my candy bars today. I’ve got four left. *shrugs* I’ll sell ‘em tomorrow. We got our interims today. My grades aren’t too bad. Photo=A+, Math=C, AP Gov.=D (which I already knew about), Forensics=A, MindCandy=S (which, I’m fairly sure is at least an A-). Gov is actually a C now cuz I turned in an assignment today. And Math will be up by the end of the week cuz I just handed in some homework and that quiz we took today will prolly help. *shrugs* But I’m sure mom will see the downside to it and not understand. Ya know, the norm.

Um…oh, so mom and dad are working late today so I had to bum a ride off my friend, Chris. I always feel guilty asking him for a ride cuz I’m just like, “Can I have a ride home?” and I never pay for gas or ANYTHING and yeah, I feel guilty. But anywho, I got home at about 1:20 and chilled for a while.

Self-angst ranting [cut incase you wanna skip it] )

Moving on…I did the dishes when mom left and then took a shower and brooded (brode? how does one make “brood” past tense?). I watched the news and decided to watch Cash Cab even though mom and dad aren’t home. Normally, I wouldn’t, but I know they would watch it without me if I wasn’t home and they were. *shrugs*

There’s this AMAHZING site where you can make your own TV add for cheap-ish and get it put on TV in your local area! How awesome is that?! I think it’s pretty cool. So go there and look into it, we should all have a voice and what better way to do it than making your own ad?! <3 Oh! Title of this post is from Jon and Stephen’s presentation at the Emmys last night.

Awwww! Stephen fans, have you read this yet? Cuz it’s adorable. Gah. Um…oh! Heroes premieres on NBC tonight at 9:00. Two and a Half Men premieres on ABC, also at 9:00. Worst Week Ever SERIES premiere is on ABC at 9:30. And, of course, Prison Break is on at 9:00 on FOX. So, yeah, the DVR’s working overtime tonight. We will be watching Prison Break tonight, so please no spoilers on Heroes! :]

That’s about it, I guess.

Do They Call You Chairman…Cuz One Night the Janitor Caught You Fucking a Stool?!

Hello people!

Well, Nick woke me up at 11:50 today, lol. I love when he wakes me up; he’s much more calm and nice than mom and dad are. He just got a new MP3 player (but shhh, don’t tell mom, she’s not sposed to know yet): a Nano Chromatic. It’s beautiful. And makes me kinda jealous. Mostly cuz you can download TCR onto iPods and I could *really* use that feature. I mean, you guys know I keep getting really behind on TDS/TCR. So, yeah.

I got up and had some mini!muffins for breakfast and then spent about four hours watching this past week’s eps of TDS/TCR. I’m somewhat caught up. I’ve still got the RNC coverage plus four more eps from quite a while ago to watch, but at least I’ve watched the most recent stuff. And let me say, Monday’s TDS was spot on. The audience was FINALLY being as good as they should be. I think Jon typically has a bad audience. They don’t laugh as much as they should, especially in comparison to Stephen’s audience. *shakes head*

This is one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard on TCR ever. It killed me. I IZ DED. The title of this post is from that video. Cuz, ya know, it kicks some serious comedy ass. <3 Speaking of comedy, I tried watching John Oliver’s comedy special, and I’m sure I’m the only person who thinks this, but I don’t find him all that funny. *shrugs*

That’s about all I did today, lol. Um…oh! The Emmys are tonight. Who else is excited to the point of insanity? I could not hope more that Stephen wins. He never wins. He SO deserves it (and Jon, too, of course!). I’m also hoping that there will be at least a teeny bit of slashy goodness when they present an award together. I think they should watch their slashy toss from Wednesday and take ideas from that. ;]

Let’s see…last night, we watched Hoodwinked. It was okay. The only reason we got it is cuz it was chock full ‘o’ celebs who we happen to like/love. I mean, Jim Belushi and Patrick Warburton? Hell yes. Their parts were hilarious, but the rest of it was…well, relatively mediocre, but I spose that’s to be expected. They’re making a second one with a few different celebs and a ton of new ones. We’ll prolly end up renting it.

Oh! My parents have talked with Nick and me and we’ve decided that this coming summer (so that’s after I graduate from high school), we’re gonna move BACK to Ellington, Connecticut, which is where we lived before we moved here. Why? Because we want to leave this place. And we’ve been trying to figure out for the past two years how we could move back to New England.

See, we thought it would be super-difficult because Nick wants to stay with his friends. And to send him into his senior year when he’s so dependent on having friends would just be cruel. Well, we’ve come up with the solution: he’ll enroll in Ellington High School, which is where all of our old friends are currently attending. That way, Nick will be able to hang out with people he is already friends with.

And I’ll be going to college, so I don’t have to worry bout adjusting very much. The sucky thing? I didn’t think we’d be moving, so I’ve been focusing on Ohio colleges. Now, I can’t go to Denison (Steve Carell’s college) or Northwestern (Stephen Colbert’s college) cuz we’ll be too far away and I need to be near my parents. So the little amount of all the work I did was a total waste. And now my search for the right college is a clusterfuck.

I saw a book at the bookstore yesterday called, “ProBlogger.” I started flipping through it and it’s written by these two guys (whose names I don’t remember) who made a job of blogging. Now, this isn’t really a new concept. But I’m enamoured with becoming famous/rich through blogging. I mean, that’s a not-so-secret dream of mine. The only downside: you need to pick a topic to blog on that will actually interest people.

That seems obvious right? But most blogs are about people’s lives. Writing about themselves (which, guess what? is what this blog is about). In order to actually make money off of blogging, which is entirely possible, one should write about one solid topic of interest. Like, for example, religion. Or politics. Or a hobby of some sort (cooking, photography, TV/movie reviews). I’m considering making ANOTHER blog in which I can review TV shows since I watch so many of them and have always thought it would be cool to review shows as a job.

So…yeah. I’ll be tweeting during the Emmys tonight, so if anyone wants to follow me or reply, I shall do the same for you. It promises to be an awesome night! :D
