Bush Won’t, Cuz He’s a PresiDon’t Who AmeriCan’t

Hello people!

I had a dream that I actually still remember (I usually forget them by now…). I was on LJ and posted some kind of meme where I mentioned how I’m against drug use, and then someone commented and said that I was stupid or something for saying what I’d said about drugs, and I went to argue my point, then I woke up. Kinda weird.

Anywho, today was a roller-coaster. When I woke up, mom told me she and dad were gonna go out shopping and stuff and they’d be gone for a bit. They also informed me that Nick was feeling sick so he was gonna chill in his room. It was about 10:30 when the rents (my short-hand for “parents”) headed out. I did the dishes and decided to make the muffins I’ve been craving for a while now.

That turned into an absolute disaster, which upset me. But there is something cool that came from it; when the muffins over-flowed in their pans, I had to scrape the tops off and put said tops onto a plate. Once I’d put the significantly smaller muffins back into the oven to finish baking, I looked at the tops on the plate. They were baked to the point of being the consistancy of cookies; a little cruncy, a little chewy.

So I chopped up the excess, baked dough and put it in a tupperware, which I promptly stuck in the fridge and forgot about. A while later, I tried the cold-ish cookie-bites, and they were really good. Like, really, really delicious, lol. So I think I’ve created a little snacklet by accident. :D

Moving on…there was a Forensic Files marathon on today, I guess in celebration of Labor Day weekend. I’ve been watching it since 1:00-ish. Around 6:00, I started recognizing episodes that I’ve seen before, so I’m kinda bored now, lol. I have a shitload of TDS/TCR to watch, so I’ll get those done tomorrow or Monday.

Neil Patrick Harris was on Letterman on Wednesday or Thursday (or something) and I recorded the interview. All they talked about was How I Met Your Mother! I was kinda bummed; I hoped they’d discuss Dr. Horrible! Oh, well. And I heard the soundtrack is on iTunes. Does that mean it’s not coming out on CD? Cuz that would blow.

During the past few hours, I’ve been watching these videos by Bo Burnham, and they’re fucking hilarious. Seriously. You’ve gotta watch, like, all of them. They’re a bit offensive if you take them seriously, but they’re satire, so LAUGH. Please enjoy: Cookout. 3.14 Apple Pi. Rehab for Fictional Characters. I’m Bo Yo. My Better Half. My Whole Family. There are a bunch more, so watch all of ‘em, cuz they’re truly fantastic, lol. Plus, he’s super cute. <3

My parents still aren’t home. They’ve been gone pretty much all day, looking for a new couch. *shrugs* Oh, well. They’re bringing us home some food (whenever they get the Hell home, lol). That’s about it. SATURDAY FTW!

Oh, Phooey, I Burned the Darn Muffins

Hello people!

Today turned out much better than I thought it would.

Photo was dull, we had a sub today, so we did nothing. Math=nothingness. We didn’t have AP Gov. cuz we had our class meeting today (which was freakishly dull, they blathered about crap we already know). In forensics, we had more time for the crime scene, and I was done, so…and in MindCandy, we simply read poetry. Seriously, it was an unbelievably uneventful day.

So, here’s the deal: mom couldn’t pick me up today cuz her boss gave her an appointment at noon (and I get out at 12:30). So I asked Chris to give me a ride home. Then, at 12:22, mom texted me to say that she could pick me up cuz her noon appointment was a no-show. :D  Mom picked me up at 12:30-ish and we went out to eat lunch at Max & Erma’s. I got Tortilla Soup (which ROCKS) and some chicken fingers. DELICIOUS.

I didn’t wanna go home - I wanted to go to a bookstore - but there aren’t ANY here, so we went to Kay Jewelers and got our rings cleaned and did the six month inspection thingy. Then we went to Caribou Coffee and it was really good. Mr. Nickel used to get coffee from them all the time when I had him as my teacher, so I figured they must be good, and they were. They had a chalkboard there and I doodled Stephen on there, hehe. <3

We stopped in at Pier 1 and I got some candles and candle-holders and then we came home. We didn’t want to, we both felt like staying out longer; going to see a movie, going shopping or something, but we had to get home to the boys, so we did. Nick acted like an ass, as usual, but dad’s being really awesome tonight, I hope it lasts, lol.

The title of this post is from Long Kiss Goodnight, which mom and I watched when we got home. Geena Davis plays this woman who has amnesia and her old identity starts slowly coming back to her. And she starts swearing as she begins acting like her old self, and Samuel L. Jackson’s character says, “Do you usually swear like this?” She glares at him and he says, “When I picked you up, you were like, ‘oh, phooey I burned the darn muffins.’” It just sounded hilarious coming from Jackson’s mouth. X]

Last night, I totally watched Stephen’s first ep of the week where we found out he was sick, and AWWW. I just wanna snuggle him! He needs chicken soup, a cozy room, and some sleep and sex with Jon, moohaha! I hope he’s feeling better…or starts feeling better, lol. *SNUGGLES STEPHEN*

Um…yeah…that’s about it. Psych and Monk are on tonight, as well as the last TDS/TCR of the week. <3 I have so much TV to watch, it’s not even funny, for serious. I also have to write. MUST WRITE, lol. Yeah…

I Just Saw That, Suddenly, a Vision Came to Me

Hello people!

Something is wrong with my family lately. Dad has been an asshole ever since he started working at his new job, Nick is always jerkish, mom keeps picking at things dad says and does and therefore pisses him off further. *headdesk* I’m so sick of everyone arguing. GRR.

We didn’t really do anything in photo. We were gonna use our shoebox camera thingies to take pictures, but we need sunlight and it was dark and rainy today. So, instead, we checked out the dark room, watched a little video thingy, and…yeah. Math=boring. Forever and ever.

We got into a tangent today in AP Gov., lol, and it was SO much fun. We talked about this weird girl that apparently spies on people and takes pictures of strangers and she likes to stop and talk to people in the hallway, whether they know her or not. It was hilarious, surrsly (and that girl came into MindCandy today to ask Robbins to buy something, lol! SO CREEPY!). And we talked about libertarianism vs liberals vs communitarianism (sp?) vs conservatives.

Um…oh, I talked to Mrs. Messick about being my teacher advisor for 18 in 08 and she helped me out quite a bit. So I’m really excited about this whole thing. It’s turning out great! :D In forensics, we just worked more on the crime scene, but my group was mostly done, so we kinda just sat there.

MindCandy was another free period. Wow, I just realized that I did practically nothing today. XD Hmm…we were sposed to work on Gallery X stuff today, but my group is done, so we did nothing. We chatted and laughed and it was hella fun, lol. Mom picked me up, but we had to go to an appointment, so that’s what we did. I napped in the car cuz holy moo, I was freakin exhausted. But it was only an hour-ish. NEED MORE SLEEP!

The title of this post is kinda random and stupid. It’s from Cash Cab and this old lady said it and she just sounded like an absolute moron, lol. I think, out of context, it’s kinda amusing. X] Yeah, that’s pretty much all I did today. I got a letter from the University of New Haven today that told me some cooly stuff about them. I’ve never heard of them before, but they sound so cool! I’m now seriously considering them, lol. <3

Wow, that’s bout it. I need to write. For serious. Celli_puzzle and I are joint-drabbling an AU crack!fic, and it’s gonna be amahzing. I’ve got a ton of stuff to do, which is blech, lol.

I Dressed Up Like a Whore for Halloween

Hello people!

I slept so well last night, it was really hard to get up this morning. And I think I might’ve had a dream about Stephen, though I don’t remember (FUCK)…but, I did get up. It just took me a little longer than usual, lol.

Let’s start at the very beginning (a very good place to start); photo was actually kinda fun today. We’re making brownie-type cameras (that’s an old type of camera from a while back) out of shoeboxes! It’s AWESOME! XD Kinda difficult, but fun thus far! And mom told me about this cool old camera she and dad had in the…80’s?…that took 3-D pictures! So I have these FREAKISHLY COOL 3-D pics to bring into class tomorrow. WHOOT.

Um…math, right. Well, math was lame. What else is new, ya know? AP Gov., we had a quiz on Locke. It was okay. Class was kinda funny, cuz we were sposed to talk about Marx, but we somehow ended up on the levy we desperately need to get passed here and what will happen if it doesn’t pass. I found out that after Spring Break, the school’s cutting ALL BUSES, art/music/theater classes, any sports that aren’t Varsity, and all extra-curricular activites. It really scares me. But it was a nice convo and we got to skip normal class stuff, lol.

GAH! Forensics was so great! We talked about two case studies from our book, and one of them was a Forensic Files that I’ve actually seen before! I knew the story and everything already! It was AMAHZING. XD And now I *really* wanna watch Forensic Files. *shrugs* And then I found out that tomorrow we’re doing our first fake crime scene! :D And we get to catalogue all the evidence and stuff and I’m SO EXCITED!

Unfortunately, MindCandy was dull as Hell today. We just talked about Gallery X (which is a mini version of a talent show), and yeah, that was really boring. Oh, well. Then I got some fries and ice cream for lunch. Oh, and I saw a sign that said they are now selling HOT DOGS, and I really like hot dogs, lol, so I got one and it was pretty good! Much better than the school burgers, that’s for sure. So I had a delicious lunch.

I’d asked a friend ‘o’ mine, Chris (who was gonna drive me to the coffee shop on Friday, remember?) if he could give me a ride home and he said sure (cuz mom couldn’t pick me up today and I didn’t wanna ride the bus). So, he and his girlfriend (Christine, I think her name was…) and I got in his car and he drove me home, teh yayz! But ZOMG, he kinda drives like a maniac, lol. He was going 70 MPH in a 50 MPH zone, and I’m ALL ABOUT following the laws, dudes. So it was the teeniest bit frightening, lol, but at least I didn’t have to ride the bus home. <3

So I got home at about 1:20 to an empty house. It was wonderful. I love having the house to myself. I did the dishes when I got home cuz I knew mom would ask me to and it was better that I get them done quick. Uh, then I wanted to make some muffins, but mom called and said she wanted to make s’more bar thingies (which we found the recipe for at bakebakebake) instead, so I couldn’t make my muffins. Perhaps I’ll make them tomorrow.

Today was Jen’s first day of college. I wonder how she’s doing. I hope everything’s going great for her! I miss her already and I just saw her yesterday, lol. <333 But she’s brilliant, she’ll be totally fine. TDS/TCR are back tonight with DNC coverage! I’m STOKED for that, lol, but it makes me the teeniest bit sad that Jon doesn’t have Stephen there with him. *guilty fangirl smirk* I wonder if they miss each other at all. *ponders*

I’m kinda disappointed that I missed all of the DNC shit last night. My parents didn’t wanna watch it and we watched other stuff instead. But I caught the highlights, so that’s better than nothing, I guess. OH! The title of this post is from a picture of myself when I was little. I had this weird Halloween costume on: a skirt and bright red shirt with crinkled hair and a TON of make-up. I think I was sposed to be a Gypsie, but I looked like a total whore, lol.

Have you guys ever felt like you just absolutely hate everyone in humanity and don’t wanna talk to anyone? Hehe, that’s how I’m feeling today. Not cynical, per se, just…I’m sick of everyone that isn’t family or you guys. I’m sick of pretending to be interested in what people at school have to say when I really don’t give a damn. I know, that sounds awful, but it prolly comes from not having any of my friends in my classes, which makes me feel very alone.

I do love talking to/listening to you guys, though. And my parents. You’re the only ones I actually care about, lol. I wish you guys went with me to school. We would have SO MUCH FUN. XD And I’d prolly be a bit less hateful, LOL. I’m done with this ranting crap, I swear, hehe. I’ll be positive now! ;]

That’s about it, I guess, lol. I have to write some more tonight, I’m on a total writing kick right now. ZOMG THERE’S A GIRL ON JEOPARDY FROM SOUTH CAROLINA. *dies*

Liberated and You’re Far Behind Me

Hello people!

Last night, I, for some unexplainable reason, had this huge feeling of anxiety about going to school today, but guess what?! Today was freakin awesome! :D

Let’s see, photo was pretty cool; you know those View Master things? Where you look in the eye-holes and see a 3-D image of, like, mountains or something? Well, there’s an old-fashioned version (the original), and my photo teacher had one of them and we got to use it and it was SO COOL. The way they did it was take two pictures of the same thing, but one was using your left eye and the other, using your right. Then they put the pics next to each other and you look through the scopey thingy and adjust it til it’s clear. And voila! A bitchin 3-D image!

Um…math was decent, cuz we had a sub (hehe). She just put an assignment on the board and we did it (we already knew the lesson for it so we didn’t have any questions). I got it done in class, it was great! Then was AP Gov., which I completed the homework for this morning, MOOHAHA. We just talked, like we always do. It was cool, though. Oh, Mrs. Messick (teacher, duh ;]) mentioned religion and then she said that whenever she talks about religion she has nightmares about Atheists chasing after her. That cracked me up, seriously, lol. Now I’m gonna have to chase her.

Forensics was cool-ish. We watched a show called The Investigators (or something like that) from TruTV (but it was an old ep, cuz the screen said CourtTV instead of TruTV). I’d never seen the show, but it was okay. Not as good as Forensic Files, imo, but decent. But I got called down to guidance half-way through the damn thing just to be given a copy of my transcript or something and to make sure I had enough credits to graduate. That was a waste of time.

MindCandy is just the most fun class ever, lol. Mr. Robbins is really funny and I pretty much love him! XD And Jen stopped in today, which made me SO HAPPY! I never get to see her anymore, and she’s shipping off to college tomorrow, so it was really great to see her, even if it was only a short time. I’m gonna visit her at her dorm sometime. That will be amahzing. ;D And I had popcorn chicken, bacon, and delicious chips for lunch today (dad cooked the meat this morning, lol, and had extra left-over for me).

Mom picked me up at 1:00 and I had to go with her to an appointment, but I didn’t mind. It’s fun going to appointments, imo. I have to sit in the car, but I can blast music really loud and read my book and yeah. I like it. Oh, and I should mention that I DIDN’T HAVE HOMEWORK TODAY! TEH WHOOT! So, we got there and mom got a call from a guy she works with, Andrew (who I’ve mentioned once or twice before). He’s really cute and totally sweet and he was at Starbucks when he was on the phone with mom, talking about getting some papers from mom.

Mom said she was going to an appointment, but I was in the car so I could give him the papers. After she said that, Andrew offered to get me a drink from Starbucks. Um, *LOVES*. Not ten minutes earlier, I had asked mom if we could get a frappucino on the way home, lol! So, YEAH, that made me really happy. I mean, an delicious coffee drink from a cute guy free of charge? Few things are better than that. He got there and I gave him the papers he needed and he had not only gotten me a drink, but he also got one for mom! <3

We stopped at the office and then came home and that’s about it. Nick wanted dinner and he made chicken fries, then he wanted some Pizza Rolls. Since I love Pizza Rolls and I don’t think Nick sould be allowed to eat them cuz they’re my fave snack, lol, but that’s just me being selfish, I spose, he offered to throw some in for me. I thanked him and said yes, please, so he put in…like, twenty or thirty of them, I don’t remember the exact amount. I’m the one who watched them and flipped them over and made sure they were cooked and whatnot.

Then Nick came out when they were done and wanted, like, half of them, even though he’d already had chicken fries and I hadn’t had anything else to eat (and didn’t plan on making anything else). Really, I should’ve gotten more than he did. So I told him that. I only took two more than we agreed on, and he shoved me and acted like a total ass just cuz he didn’t have all the of the ones he wanted. Well, fuck him! He doesn’t have to be such a pig and hog everything, especially when the Pizza Rolls were, really, bought for me since I love them. *grr to brothers*

DAMN IT. John Legend was performing at the DNC but the TV’s muted cuz mom’s on the phone and I MISSED HIM! *tears* …I swear, people in Ohio are never happy with the weather. If it’s hot, they want cold. If it’s cold, they want hot. If it’s sunny for a while, they want rain. If it’s been raining, they want sun. MAKE UP YOUR MINDS, PEOPLE.

I was blaring music in mom’s car during her appointment today and listened to some Sister Hazel. That’s where the title of this post came from; the song, “Thank You.” It’s awesome (and Sister Hazel=win), and he sings about how this girl taught him what he doesn’t need to know and he’s “grateful” but she should just leave him the eff alone. It’s hilarious. And one of the lines is, “I had to drive away, far away where you could not find me, it was a beautiful day, liberated and you’re far behind me.” XD

Oh, I keep hearing that TDS/TCR aren’t new tonight. Is that true? Can someone please confirm or deny that for me? Thanks!

I think that’s it. I totally just saw Howard Dean at the DNC and it made me smirk. BYAAAAH! <3

This Guy Should Be Called Barack O-Boner!

Hello people!

Today, I felt very…cynical?…melancholy?…blah-y, I guess is the best word, LOL. Excuse the exclusiveness to women on the next comment, but it’s that time, if ya know what I mean, and I’m fairly sure you all do. Usually, at that time, my emotions are enhanced. Small things make me happier than they should, I get angry/upset more easily, etc. Hence my blah-y feeling today. Jon and Stephen cheered me up quickly, which I’m supremely grateful for, lol.

I had ice cream for breakfast. With the permission of the parentals, of course. It was fun. Oh, and when I got up and came out to the living room this morning, there was an interview thingy with Foreigner on it! :D They played some songs, including some old ones and a new one. It was really cool. Foreigner kicks so much ass.

I didn’t do much today. Caught up on two episodes of Monk (last week’s and this past week’s), watched a few eps of TDS/TCR. It was nice. Oh, and the title of this post is from one of the TDS eps. It was the one with Ed Helms as a guest correspondent. It rained today. That made me so happy. I can’t tell you guys, lol, it was so wonderful. We haven’t had rain in a couple months, methinks. Like, actual, legitimate rain. It even thundered! It was great.

Um…that’s about it. How sad is that? My weekend days have become less eventful than my school days. That makes me sad, lol. I still haven’t done my homework, though I said I got it done on Friday, cuz hey. That’s how I am. Oh, well. Jen’s coming to school tomorrow to visit. It’s gonna be awesome. :D

We watched Smart People today. It’s…okay. Kinda weird. The guy who plays the adopted brother plays Lowell in “Wings,” and I love him. Oh, he’s also Sandman in the latest (shittiest) Spiderman movie. AND Ellen Page and Dennis Quaid. But strange. I think Ellen Page has a playing-an-obscure-character-in-an-obscure-movie!kink.

I wonder if there’s a Masochism For Dummies book…lol. Wouldn’t a Terrorism For Dummies book be funny? I mean, terrible, but funny. Nick got mad at me last night for saying that I was too tired to play MGS. I don’t think he realizes that humans have to do this thing called, “sleep.” It’s amazingly revolutionary.

Where does everyone disappear to on Sundays? I get being gone all morning (at least for some of you), but all day? It’s amazing how when I have free time, there seems to be nothing to do and no one to talk to. And yet, when I’m freakishly busy, I have three pages of friends stuff to catch up on and 27 emails to read. *shrugs*

I wanna make Dr. Horrible into a play for my school. Anyone wanna help me?

You Should Crawl On the Ground Like the Snake That You Are

Hello people!

Okay, so, I spent, like, all evening just chillin here and completely spaced on my post tonight, LOL. Hence the lateness. XD But yeah, at least I got my fic posted! WHOO!

FRIDAY. Like, yay. So, photo, we played a game called, “Survivor,” where you write three things about yourself on a piece of paper and then you collect all the papers and pass the stack around for other people to read aloud. Here’s the thing: the first one has to be general, but about you (I have brown hair), the second one has to be a bit more narrow, but still about you (I like to write), the last one has to be exclusive to you (I have a blog that I update daily, usually multiple times). It was cool!

Plus, I had a tank-top on today so everyone could see my tats, and the teacher was like, “Look at your tattoos, when did you get those?” I told her, and she said, “And your parents were okay with that?” and I said, “My parents talked me into it.” and people laughed, cuz they always do, lol. That was fun.

Then, in math, we just reviewed basic properties (commutative, identity, etc.) from last year. That was dull as hell, dudes. Next, AP Gov. We discussed the reading from last night (I can’t spell Montesque…but that was the reading). We had to give a summary and response of that, and seriously, my handwriting is somewhat big, but thin, and my paper was only a page long, with a couple spaces in-between.

You should have SEEN other people’s papers! They had teeny writing and were, like, an entire, completely filled-in page. It was RIDICULOUS! I feel really stupid in that class. *sadface* Moving on. Forensics was okay. We just did notes today, but we discussed, ya know, evidence and stuff. That was cool. XD I can’t wait til we actually do something, LOL! It shall be awesome.

MindCandy is a really fun class. I love it. We read some poetry today, but it wasn’t overly dull, so that was good. And Mr. Robbins said that over the summer he read all of Michael Crichton’s books!!! Since I pretty much LOVE Michael Crichton, I got really excited. We talked about books a bit and then we talked about The Dark Knight (have yet to see it!) and the let-down that was the Spiderman movies (especially the 3rd one) and we talked about religion. Mr. Robbins is reading “God Is Not Great” (I should check it out) and we talked about Atheism and religion in general. It was really calm and comfortable and I LOVED it.

I asked a friend for a ride to NewGrounds (the cafe down the street) after fifth period, and I waited outside, but it occured to me that he was probably eating lunch – I skipped lunch cuz I felt nauseous all day and didn’t feel like eating. So I decided to walk to NewGrounds myself. It was fine. Kinda hot, but I was in a tank-top and shorts, so it was better than when I had jeans and a t-shirt on before.

I got a drink and read about 70 pages of my MGS book in the roughly two and a half hours that I was there. Nick came to the cafe with his friend once they got outta school and chatted for half an hour til dad picked us up. We stopped at the store then headed home and pretty much chilled. Cash Cab wasn’t on tonight (nor will it be on for the next week! :O), so that depressed us. I think it threw of my night, lol.

Mom wanted to see Metal Gear Solid so I said I’d play it. So now I’m playing! :D And it’s my fave game, so YAYZ! Unfortunately, I’ve been playing and I totally forgot to get the SOCOM in the beginning, which means I got the gun where I was sposed to get the Thermal Goggles, so now I don’t have the goddamn Thermal Goggles, which I effing NEED. So, yeah, I’m a tad annoyed. Especially at myself for forgetting to get the gun. *curses self* The title of this post is from MGS; Vulcan Raven says it when he shoots a missile at Snake and Snake falls to the ground.

I’m quite pleased that I got to finish my Jon/Stephen story and post it. I’m really quite proud of it. Uh…that’s about it, I guess. I gotta go with mom to Wag Fest tomorrow, which is a dog thingy. I really don’t wanna go, but, ya know, I gotta help out mom. Plus, I enjoy helping her, even though I hate dogs, so, yeah. <3

Eating an Apple Makes Me Seem More Casual

Hello people!

Okeeday, so it’s Thursday. It doesn’t feel like Thursday, but ya know, I’m glad tomorrow’s Friday! :D

I don’t think I’ve addressed the bus situation of this year, so I think I’ll do that now. Last year, it was fairly crowded on the bus, but there were at least four or five seats where someone sat by themselves (I usually had my own seat). This year, because of the crazy influx of freshmen, the bus is way over-crowded, to the point of there only being a couple seats that aren’t already filled up completely.

I always have to sit with some other kid I don’t know, and it’s quite annoying. I really like having my own seat, but I understand the abundance of kids and lack of buses, so I digress. However, the really annoying part of this whole ordeal that I still don’t understand is that the back of the bus is the only place with semi-free seats. It used to be that the back was the “cool place” to sit and the front was the “lame-ass place” to sit. Now everyone wants to sit in the front (including myself) and no one wants to sit in the back. I don’t get it at all. *SIGH*

Kay, so, photo was ultra-dull today. We did book work. Blech. Math was blah as well, I didn’t do all the homework (hehe!) so, yeah, but we didn’t have much homework tonight and I did get that done. Whoot. Oh! I got a pass during math that was from the guidance office, asking me to come down there.

So I went down there, and the pass was from Mr. Palazzo. He came up to me right when I went in and was like, “That’s from me (cuz his name wasn’t on it and I didn’t know it was from him til he said that).” and took my pass and I was like, “Okay.” And then he went and talked to some lady in there for, like, ten f-ing minutes while I just stood there, waiting for him to tell my WhyTF he called me down there!  It really pissed me off and was SO RUDE!

I wanted to say something to the effect of, “Can you PLEASE stop talking to her for a minute and tell me what the hell you wanted?!” …but I didn’t, of course. And the only reason he wanted me to come down was to tell me that I would only have 4.5 credits by the end of the year and that wasn’t enough to graduate. I KNEW that already, I was gonna sign up for Classical Mythology next week cuz the first week is always hectic with people rearranging their schedules, and mine wasn’t imperative; I won’t have Mythology  til next semester, no matter what, so it was a waste of my time. But Palazzo signed me up for Mythology, which was nice, so…yay…?

These paragraphs are really long…this is gonna be a lengthy entry. Me sowwy! :} Moving on…AP Gov. was okay. Noah, a notoriously talkative kid, joined our class today, so hopefully, he’ll bring up what we’re lacking in conversation. Forensics was awesome! We talked about what we’re gonna do this year and OMG, I can’t wait! We’re gonna look at blood spatter (splatter?) patterns and fiber analysis and investigating crime scenes and GAH! I can’t wait to get started; next week, we’re gonna create a crime scene and categorize all the evidence and stuff. <3

MindCandy was cool. We had to bring in a poem or song, cuz the next nine weeks are all about poetry (GAG ME WITH AN EFFING SPOON), so I brought in a song, of course, since I despise poetry. X] I decided to bring in, “On the Rise” from Dr. Horrible, since there’s the contrast between Horrible being so angry and Penny being so happy. The class loved the over-lapping voices part (which I love, too) and one of the kids is gonna go watch Dr. Horrible now! :D

I had fries and ice cream for lunch and MMM it was good, hehe. Mom picked me up at one-ish and we had to go to meet up with this lady to talk about mom’s work doing radio ads. Well, the lady happens to represent the Brew, which is my absolute FAVORITE station ever, so I was kinda excited, lol. But, I didn’t listen in on mom and the lady’s convo and, instead, read my Metal Gear Solid book.

I gotta say, for anyone on my flist who’s a fan of MGS (which is no one, I believe), the book is not like the game. I mean, the plot’s the same, and some of the convos are the same, but there are quite a few small variations and the writer made Solid Snake – a freakishly tough and mostly serious man – joke around and say ridiculously cheesy things. It’s annoying. AND, he makes Snake kill all these guards, and in the game, you usually tranq more guards than you kill, at least in the beginning, so, yeah, not as awesome is it could’ve been. Oh, well.

We had to go get food at Giant Eagle so we’d have something to eat tonight, but I wasn’t hungry, so I skipped dinner. I’ll be hungry later. *shrugs* Um…yeah, that brings us to now. Oh, in MindCandy today, Mr. Robbins was eating an apple and he mentioned how he loves that episode of Seinfeld where George is talking to a girl on the phone and he’s eating an apple cuz he thinks it makes him seem more casual. XD Gotta love George.

Mysidewayshalo posted this in her blog [[http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26316235/]] and it really upset me. It made me cry, it was so unbelievablely fail. This is one of the thousands millions billions numerous reasons I despise people. I hate them. We are a sad, sad species and sometimes I think we don’t even deserve to be in existence. It’s things like this that cause my ultra-cynicism. Whilst on that topic, Hallmark now has gay wedding cards! :D I usually don’t like Hallmark, but they win times a MILLION for this. For serious. <3

I have a question for you guys: if you were married and your spouse did something differently than you would, and you think their way is wrong, would you call them on it and reprimand them, or would you let them have their way and you have your own? Mom likes to…critique, let’s say…how dad does things. And while I agree with her half the time, I think it’s kind of mean the way she handles things. Especially when it’s right in front of me or Nick. *shrugs* So what do you guys think? Would you do the same thing, or would you handle the situation differently?

I’m totally wearing a tank top tomorrow so people can see my tattoos. I’m excited. XD I like people asking about my tattoos. It makes me feel special, lawlz.

Sorry for the lengthy post tonight, guys! I’m feeling talkative, lol.

What Is It About Ohio That Makes People Want to Flee the Earth?

Hello people!

Sorry for such a late post tonight, guys. I’m feeling kinda out of it.

I can’t believe this is only the second day of school. I feel like it’s been months already, lol. Gawd, I’m sick of school. I cannot WAIT for college. It’s gonna be fucking amahzing. Living away from my family for a while, though depressing and difficult, will definitely be good for me. And my own schedule and running my own life…it’s just gonna rock.

Photo is CRAZY expensive. We have to buy all this photo paper and film and it’s, like, $50-$100, depending on how much mom wants to spend. *shrugs* What can ya do? Math was okay, but we had homework tonight that was really long and I just hate math so much. I wish I didn’t have to take it anymore. I’m gonna try my best not to have it in college, if I can. But aside from the homework (which is review from last year), we didn’t do much.

AP Gov. wasn’t as scary as I thought it would be, thankfully. She didn’t call on me, but GAWD, that class is freakishly quiet. I really wish the other people would talk more; I HATE quiet classes. It makes me feel all awkward and uncomfortable. Blech. And Messick said that she was gonna reference the books we had to read over the summer all the time throughout the school year, so I really need to read those. *headdesk X 1,000,000* I fail.

Next up was forensics and we had to get our books. We went to the library and it was OVERFLOWING with kids! I think there were easily 300 kids in there, if not more. PLUS teachers and media specialists librarians. We stood there for…what…twenty minutes, waiting to check out our books. They have this new system where instead of scanning your student ID’s barcode, which is what they used to do, they made lists of every period for every teacher and put every student’s barcode in each class onto the lists. So NOW, they have to find your teacher’s lists, find the period, find your specific barcode, and then scan that code then scan the code in the book. It’s SO STUPID.

Because of that, we pretty much blew our whole class period, so next up was Mind Candy. That was okay. We discussed Gallery X, which is like a smaller version of a talent show, run by the Mind Candy staff. They always have  theme, and I liked the coffee house theme where we would all where black and berets and snap our fingers instead of clapping. But someone said that not many people would like that. So blah. Now we’re doing a carnival theme, and to be honest, I think it’s lame. I’ve never been a carnival-type person, though, so…

Mom picked me up at 12:30-ish and we had to go to Wal*Mart, but after that, we went home. I kinda chilled for an hour, ya know, checked my email and whatnot, then did my homework (yeah, I actually did it! :D ), then napped for about five minutes (guh) and then we had dinner. I’m feeling so drained and I’ve got a pounding headache, which=fail. I really can’t wait for Saturday, lol.

I found an MGS test on OKCupid that ROCKS. It’s a FOXHOUND codename test, and I got Big Boss (a legend in the world of MGS). HELLS TO THE YEAH. Check it:

Your result for The FOXHOUND Codename Test…

Big Boss

You’ve gotten the maximum score for this test.

Big Boss, a legend. You will most likely rise above the ranks of FOXHOUND and become something in your own right. A great and terrible future is in store for you.

NoFactZone.net talked about how Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones from Ohio suffered from an aneurysm last night whilst driving. She was in critical condition until 6:12 tonight, I believe, when she passed away. She was featured on The Colbert Report (at some point, I don’t recall when) and Stephen said that Ohio had more astronauts come from them than any other state. Then he said the title of this post, which made me laugh so hard. Everything about Ohio is what makes people want to feel Earth…imo. X] But yeah, RIP Mrs. Jones. <3

Colbertlove posted about the Condom Song and OMG IT’S HILARIOUSLY AWESOME. If you haven’t heard it, seriously, you MUST hear it: http://www.labnol.org/home/health/download-bbc-condom-mp3-ringtone/4235/.

I read some more “I Am America (And So Can You!)” last night cuz, again, I couldn’t get to sleep. I took a sleeping pill a little bit ago, so hopefully, I’ll finally fall asleep quickly tonight. I gotta say, I really enjoy reading my book aloud, lol. Do you guys ever talk to yourselves? I do it a lot. Sometimes, I have conversations with myself. Not, like, split personalities, I just…I dunno, when I think about stuff, if I’m alone, I say what I’m thinking aloud, as if having a conversation with myself. It’s fun for me, lol. I know, I’m so weird. XD

I’m tired, dudes. Soooooooooo tired.

We Were Tracking Fay Cuz, Well, We Want Some Rain

Hello people!

YAYZ! I’m officially a senior. It kicks ass, really. Let’s see, today was fairly good, thankfully. I had photography first, and my teacher was Mrs. Owens, who apparently had my brother for art last year! :D So, she pronounced my name right. WHOO! That class was boring, though, cuz we had to look at pictures of the Olympics and I’m sorry, but I have absolutely zero interest in the Olympics. So, yeah, dull.

Second period was math with Mr. Pagnanelli, who I had last year. I’m not re-taking a class, he just happens to teach both the class I took last year and the class I’m taking this year. We got our books today and on the way there, Mr. Pagnanelli and I chatted about how short this summer was and blah. And I have two friends in that class, which rocks, lol! :D Unfortunately, I think my first class is mostly lower-classmen that I don’t know.

Third period was AP Gov. Hehe, okay, I wrote my paper last night and I had, like, no quotes in it, which our teacher asked for. *shrugs* Oh, well. Um, but anyway, that class was okay. There’s only eight of us, and I only know a couple of the people and even then, they’re not really close friends of mine. But I think this class will be really fun. I’m looking forward to learning in this class.

Fourth period was forensics! OMG I’m SO excited about that class! We did an observation test thing where we watched the first song of Hairspray, and then the teacher asked us, like, fifteen questions about random stuff that you had to keep your eye out for. JUST LIKE SHAWN DOES ON PSYCH! <3 I missed four of the questions, but that’s okay, lol, it wasn’t graded. XD And Adam (bud from German last year) is in that class with me! YAY!

Fifth period was MindCandy, which is the literary arts magazine of the school. It actually sounds a lot better than I thought it would be! I wasn’t really sure what it entailed to be a part of the MC staff, but I found out today that we work with designing on the new Mac computers (how the fudge did they afford those? I have NO idea), accounting (fundraising and money-managing for the magazine), and we’ll be writing a LOT! It sounds like a lotta fun.

I got D lunch, which means that I have my class first, which is GREAT, cuz that means I can either grab lunch and head over to the cafe or skip out on school lunch and just eat when mom brings me home (depending on her schedule). Today, mom couldn’t pick me up til 2:30, so I went to get some food. Unfortunately, ALL the fries were gone and ALL the sandwiches/burgers were gone. That’s my lunch. I mean, that’s what I always get.

I was a little annoyed, but they made fresh fries and I only had to wait a few minutes, so that was good. Um, so I had a bag to put my fries in cuz I had to trudge the distance to the cafe, which really isn’t that close for someone like me who never walks anywhere longer than two minutes away. So I stopped outside of the commons (the place where people eat, which is a sunken area) to put the fries in the bag and this douche-bag hall monitor told me I needed to take my food to the commons if I wanted to eat.

I was like, “No, no, I’m leaving, I just have to put these in a bag so they don’t spill.” and he was like, “Alrighty.” I kinda wanted to punch him, cuz he had no fucking idea what he was talking about. But ANYWAY, I packed up my fries and bought some mini muffins and a bottle of water before heading right out the front doors. It felt AMAZING. I can’t even begin to describe how great it felt to walk out of school half-way through the day without someone yelling at me.

I began my pilgrimage to NewGrounds Cafe in the freakishly hot sun. It was really hot today, I think somewhere in the upper 80’s. Blech. But it wasn’t too bad, actually. I remember it being worse last year. I listened to my MP3 player and admired the ponds one passes when walking to NewGrounds. It was actually kinda nice. Just tiring.

Eventually, I got there, and I bought a Frozen Caramel Mocha - the usual, though I can’t order it as such yet cuz they keep getting new workers, lol – and I chilled at one of the cute little black tables they have scattered about the place. I kept listening to my music and filled in the forms I got from school today that needed filling in (ya know, student survey stuff and whatnot). It was really fun, I loved it.

When mom came to pick me up, she again harped on the fact that I get out two periods early. I really don’t care what she thinks, I’m not changing my schedule. I will continue to get out early cuz that’s what I wanna do and I’m almost 18, I can choose my own schedule if I want to. Damn. I refused to discuss it and we went home.

Gordon Gee (and idiot, if you ask me), the President of Ohio State University, wants to raise the drinking age to 18 because he thinks it’ll cut down binge drinking in college. I think that’s ridiculously stupid, but I know a lot of people think the age should be lowered (though I think it’s cuz they wanna drink sooner *rolls eyes*). So, I want your opinions: do you think the age should be lowered to 18, and why?

I was watching the news and the weather guy said something close to the title of this blog, and I started laughing cuz it sounded like the only reason we even cared about Tropical Storm Fay was so we could get some rain. *shakes head* I would really love some rain, though. We haven’t had some good rain in, like, a month. Grawr.

I need to study some of the stuff in those stupid books we had to read over the summer for AP Gov. cuz we’re gonna discuss them tomorrow and I don’t know much about them. *headdesk x 1,000,000* I’m sure I’ll just end up looking stupid tomorrow cuz that’s how I am, and I’m sure Messick (teacher) will call me on my shit paper, prolly in class, cuz she said she does that, and I am gonna feel like utter shit. I know, it’s my own fault, but really, I don’t think it’s fair that teachers expect us to do work over the summer! Like we don’t do enough shit during the year. *curses evil teachers*

Last night, I could not fall asleep. I went to bed at 11:30-ish and I was still awake at 12:30, so I grabbed a book to read; “I Am America (And So Can You!).” I read the first two chapters aloud to myself, as if I was reading to a group of people. It actually helped. And it was fun; I like talking to myself, lol, so reading aloud to myself was entertaining. I know, I’m such a dork. But I fell asleep thinking happy Stephen thoughts (alas, I didn’t dream of him).

I desperately need to write, dudes. For serious. I’m gonna drabble a bit tonight.

We’re eating potatoes for dinner. Just potatoes. Um, yay. <3
